“It’s interesting because when you do something over and over again, you seem to lose a little excitement as a human being. The fans somewhat are able to hold on to the high standard and the excitement of the playoffs,” he said. “Through social media or just walking around town or whatever when I come across people, everyone seems elated about the Super Bowl.”
Bennett stopped himself quickly.
“I mean, not the Super Bowl. I mean, they all talk about the Super Bowl, but it’s one game at a time,” he added. “The fans already put you in there. It’s just … it’s pretty awesome. It’s pretty awesome to meet the fans. They try and build you up and get you ready and pump you up. But I’m like, ‘I got this. This is what I do.’”
