You obviously have not idea the meaning of the phrase "Pink Hat".
I believe it was Tony Mazerotti who labled the (post 2004 bandwagon crowd) pink hats.
A pink hat is a new Sox fan that enjoys all of todays success and never suffered the heartbreak of
years past.

When you go to Fenway, you will also notice that most pinkhats also wear a Varitek shirt.

Sorry.... I don't fit the bill ..... I have seen my share of heartbreak in 1972, 1975, 1978, & 1986.

Sorry.... I don't fit the bill ..... I have seen my share of heartbreak in 1972, 1975, 1978, & 1986.

1972; what a kick in the ballbag that one was, tanked in the last series of the year in Detroit and finished a half game out of first.

1978 was the worst, worse than 1986 considering that smug POS Dent hit that home run with a bat he borrowed from Mickey Rivers, which turned out to be corked and the douchebag has made money hand over fist because it ever since.
