HYPOTHETICAL: Do the Giants Beat NE Again Should They Make It?

Max Kellerman is an idiot.

Thank you for the insightful thread.
I wasn't trying to be insightful. I was trying to keep this from becoming exactly what it seems to have become, people just bashing Kellerman. I just wanted to know what you all thought about the possibility of meeting the Giants again in the SB if the Pats are able to make it there. That's it really. But I have now been dubbed the "King" of garbage threads. Wow. LOL

Anyway, I only focused on it because the Giants are the only team to beat NE in a SB TWICE. Call it luck or fluke or whatever, it was TWICE. I don't think it's entirely ridiculous to wonder if they could do it again. It was meant to just incite some convo, but apparently it was the worst idea ever. So again, whatever. LOL Be easy.

Guys, I know NE has to play the games and this post is in no way to take for granted that they'll just waltz into the SB. Furthermore, this is in no way intended to turn into a 'Max Kellerman is an idiot thread either,' as he again uses his platform as an opportunity to attack Brady. We already know he's an idiot. This is about Clark's words on the show and the fact that I think it's legit. The Giants are the one team in the NFC, though I acknowledge any team coming out of the NFC would be tough, that scares me just because of the recent history. They just seem to always match up very well, even with the roster turnover. They have the pedigree against NE and Spags seems to develop schemes that challenge what the Pats like to do. Even the game we won in 2015 came down to the very end and what some people think was a questionable call on the Odell B. TD (I believe it was not a TD, for the record).

So here's my question: IF the Pats make it to the Dance and it's the Giants, is the third time the charm? Do we win or do the Giants do it again and take yet another one from Brady and our boys?

EDIT: Man, losing Gronk is big though. I know we got Marty. But Gronk is just the most dominant force in the league. d%#*!@t.

We're on to Miami.

The team that can't run the ball is the NY Football Giants, so they got this exactly backwards.

I create garbage threads? Really? First I've heard of it.

Just look at this one..

quoting Kellerman, being scared without any reason at all of one of the worst remaining NFC teams.. I think the most laughable is mentioning Spagnuolo as if he is a good coach..

There is absolutely no doubt that there are more than a few posters around here who are irrationally obsessed with the New Jersey NFL team, and I'm not referring to the Jets.

Quoting Kellerman? Never happened. Scared of the Giants? No, just posing a question. It was his defenses that beat NE before, so thinking he can scheme for them is not out of the question. But whatever, Luuked. You are entitled to how you feel. I'll continue with my "garbage" threads at my leisure and inclination.

The Patriots are 1-0 against the Giants since the 2011 Super Bowl. That is almost 5 years... realistically almost an eternity.

The King of creating garbage threads is back...

To answer your question.. no.. if we are lucky enough to play the Giants i'd expect a boring game with a 32-16ish scoreline.. they have a crappy, one-dimensional offense.. in fact apart from WSH or the Lions it would be the easiest SB opponent possible..
I expected that kind of game in both 42 and 46

There are a lot of good team in the NFC. If the Giants make it to the Super Bowl they will be formidable.

Winner.

Why the hell would anyone watch Max Kellerman?

I just watch him for the laughs. It's hilarious to hear all the absurd things he comes up with to discredit the Pats. Fckn Giants moron.

EDIT: So to the question: I think we would win that one. We have a really balanced team this year that can beat you in so many ways.

I actually thought you gave to much credit to the Giants offense. It has 0 dimensions lol

This Kellman, Stephen A. piece is before the Pats beat the Jets and Carr went down for the Raiders, so this does qualify your thread as garbage.

Defense. his defense beat us once. If we played again I would expect a really low scoring game

I am not ascared of the Giants this year. They have a pretty good defense but there whole offense goes through Beckham and you know Bill will take him away or at least limit him.

I would personally recruit some help:

Take away Odell Beckham, like Butler did last year, and they have no offense. On D, their secondary is supposedly great, but they are ranked in the bottom 10 in the league in pass defense. I would LOVE a super bowl against the giants. During the super bowl week all we're going to hear is how the giants "own" the pats and the giants are going to start believing it.

Watch the games, dont just look at stats. I havent looked at the stats since this week ended, but before this week the giants were better than only the Browns and 49ers in Time of Possion. Before this week they were number 1 in points per drive against, number one in completion percemtage against too. Part of the reason they allow 250 yards per game is because they are always on the field, they have an anemic offense, passing and running. This is why I always tell people watch the games, do not just look at stats

You would think Kellerman was fighting all those years (Boxing) and gettin pummeled in his head and not a ANALyst way he talks shi!

I'm not going to watch that filthy video but I will chime in with an opinion from the peanut gallery.

I welcome the f*cking Giants. As a matter of fact, against this Patriots team, I welcome any team left in football this year.

I would like nothing more than to watch this offensive line come out in an obvious run formation against Mara "the teflon Don's" Giants and push that rock right down their throat. Which this line could, early and often. Oh, by the way, once they do that they will run play action on that defense so hard they will wish 2007 never happened.

F*ck being afraid of the Giants with this Patriots squad, after they are done the league will be holding candlelight vigils outside the NFL front office in NY wondering how to pick up the pieces.
