Dolphins' ineptitude a challenge for oddsmakers

To borrow from 2007:

"Today, we saw 23 teams play professional football, and the Patriots play something else. We still don't know what that was."

To wich someone quipped, "That 'something else' was the Dolphins. I don't know that what they do qualifies as professional football."

At this point it is difficult to come up with a scenario where they actually win a game. Too bad they don't play the Jets in the next 1-2 weeks. That would be a toilet bowl for the ages.

That would be less competitive than a preseason Week 4 game.

Playing fantasy football at work. Picked up Witten and Devin Smith off of waivers for this week. Probably will fill in a couple of players who are playing the fins each week. Haha

Scabs > 2019 Dolphins

Wasn't Ryan Fitzpatrick once a QB people said made both good and bad teams 8-8?

Fitzmagic has passed its expiration date

That would be a real miracle this year.

I feel like they will end up worse than that Lions team. The 0-16 Browns were bad but they looked like they could have won a few games. This team though, they don’t look like they’re close.

Two 20+ spreads this week in the NFL that is unheard of..

That is not a bad strategy.

But isn't the Dolphins going 0-16 their plan, which if they achieve it means a succesful season? They have numerous 1st and 2nd round picks already.

Question is, if you get rid of all the good vets, how is a team full of rookies going to learn?

And how can a team of rookies be good anyways? And why get rid of young guys like Minka if the point is to rebuild with young guys? How much of their fans' loyalty are they going to burn? Flores won't be able to right his reputation. All for a chancy strategy that could still suck at the end. I don't understand the program.

Well, they're sitting on a mountain of salary cap space so they should also be able to attract the kind of vets who are just about the $$. o_O Yeah, that shapes up as quite a team dynamic for next season.

It worked for the Jets. :D

Worse than Bills-JEST on the day of 59-0?
