Howe: No Parker for Sunday

It’s fine. The Eagles are vulnerable in the middle of the field (safety and LB are the weak spots on D). This is a get the ball put of Mac’s hands quickly to Pop, Bourne, Gesicki and Ty Monty between the hashes game.
One has never played a single NFL game
Three of the four have never played a game with MAC ....but have played catch in short pants with him.
One has struggled to get up to speed in his first two years with NE and now he is learning his third NE OC's offense.

Parkers 5th missed game in 2 seasons (18 games) w the Pats

I’ll be honest, I think Bourne can do everything Parker can do… Maybe Bourne can take advantage and move up the depth chart. Plus, more reps for the rookies who may surprise.

Come on Rookie WR's., Kayshon Boutte and Demario Douglas and throw in Ty Montgomery for however long he lasts!

An interesting weekend of news. It has been unpleasant news after news. Don’t remember starting a season like this in a while.

No Jack Jones no Parker
No buono

DeAndre Hopkins is healthy for week 1

just saying....

Eh..I’m looking forward to seeing more of Pop & KB2 anyway.

With Parker there is a chance he has a really good game. There’s also an equally likely chance that he is completely invisible. The guy isn’t going to be the difference between winning and losing.

Silver lining is more Douglas and Boutte. We know what our veteran receivers are, let’s see what the young guys bring.

We can be encouraged by how lions running back gibbs and rookie TE Sam la porta performed. If that's an indication w scan expect the rookie class to carry huge weights this year not out of choice but if compulsion. Probably much needed change as compared to Brady years when we needed middling veterans and not younger guns who could quickly grow. So this season is going to be interesting to watch the rookie growth .

So if we lose today it gets an asterisk. Tirico agrees with me. Sounds like that’s how it works.

Get paid to miss games.

Cool let's start the youth movement.

Yikes.

I hate to beat a dead horse on the whole DHop thing, but... some of our receivers are already injury prone. Parker, Thornton, etc. And that's not including JuJu's knee. So still don't see why we couldn't give a simple 2 year deal to DHop
Agreed, and Dhop s playing right now.
