Because they come up with BS like this that gets people all fired up. Not using any facts of course, just what will make people either mad/happy.

It seems to me the only people really piling on are: TEAMS WE BEAT IN BIG GAMES and MEDIA. Guys with no ax to grind - current and former players like Boomer, Salisbury, Chad Johnson, Keyshawn, and a LOT of coaches (Shanny, Martz, Parcells, Madden) - seem to be on board with this being a ridiculously overblown story. The media has humiliated itself.

Curran interviewed him, said that Gruden couldn't figure out why it was even being talked about.

Carucci was on the same segment of the Big Show and he said he didn't even consider it stealing signals, he called it acquiring signals, and that it was ludicrous for anyone to say that this taints any of the Patriots accomplishments.

I heard it on Instant Replay yesterday morning, which was good because it came right after I heard Peter King spew a bunch of nonsense with Dale and Holley.

i heard king say that one head coach launched a profanity laced tirade against mangini for ratting out BB after all he had done to him for his career. Gruden could be that coach.Not sure who else it could be - shanahan ?

I wouldn't be surprised if it was Gruden. Gruden is an intense football guy who wants to win...I can see his staff with a video camera on the sidelines if not something more creative.

We don't know that for sure.. he is a private man, did you ever take a look at all thing belichick website.. look under BB friends.. he has a ton of linkages..
