I would like like to see Moss line up opposite the tights-stacks. It would be nice to see 2-3 defenders soley on moss on one side of the field and the rest of the offense man up on the other side.
According to a lot of the national media, all you have to do is jam Moss at the line of scrimmage to completely shut him down. Given that, I think he should spend his time on more important things, since clearly Moss is just going to be useless in this game like he was in the last two.
Randy Moss is still Tom Brady's first target of choice. He has said publicly that he looks Randy's way every time hoping he's available. Nothing has changed in these two playoff games so far. It's just a testament to the coverage and defensive game plan. The Giants have allowed more passing TDs than either the Jags or the Bolts, so we can expect Brady to have more success next weekend than the previous games, and that success will carry over to success for the #1 TD catcher in the NFL this season, Randy Moss. I will genuinely be shocked if Randy doesn't catch a TD.
I feel like pundits, mediots, etc. should be forced to write the following on a chalk board over and over ie Bart in the opening credits of the Simpsons. The Pats will take what the defense gives them. The Pats will take what the defense gives them. The Pats will take what the defense gives them. The Pats will take what the defense gives them. The Pats will take what the defense gives them. The Pats will take what the defense gives them. The Pats will take what the defense gives them. The Pats will take what the defense gives them. The Pats will take what the defense gives them. The Pats will take what the defense gives them. The Pats will take what the defense gives them. The Pats will take what the defense gives them.
is it just me or did we use no play action against SD?
i had no idea why especially when maroney was giving them hell. give credit to SD's def for keeping brady off his game, but i really think josh couldve called a better game.
As BB says himself, and does to opposing teams best player(s), if a team wants to take a player away, they can do that. Bit of course what it does is leave other players to make plays. The Patriots have more players that can take advantage of this than any other team, including the Giants. So why try to make plays just for Moss when you don't have to to win?
