I can remember exactly when I knew Brady was special. It was the moment he spiked the ball so nonchalantly after going 5-6 on the last drive in the SB vs. the Rams. I was dumbfounded- it was so casual. Didn't he understand he was in the biggest game on the biggest stage in this country?
Granted the game vs. Miami isn't the superbowl but it was Mac's first professional game and he's already having fun.
Definitely. He's not lacking in confidence at all.Kid's got some swag, like him better each day
If that is an actual member of this board I will need to reconsider my life and marriage and everything I used to think wasn't worth losing for any reason.

Next time we meet them, Flores will just have more tape on us. We really need to stop underestimating his coaching abilities. He's 2-0 against Belichick the last 2 games.Another factor for this game was that Flores and the dolphins knew us way too much. Next time we meet them, we will be a different team and will hide them.
It seems to me that there's a certain intangible "fight or flight" response in the greatest athletes. When confronted with difficult challenges, people react VERY differently. Brady, Montana (John Candy moment), Jordan, Kobe etc. It's a calm focus when everyone else is freaking out.Ooh.. chills. I just love it man.. the comfort level of this kid is off the charts. It could be one of the biggest reasons some players kill in college and then end up busts in the pros, when they shrink from competition. Impossible to gauge until they're up against it.
I know there a lot of "Mac is the second coming!" talk, and I'm not going to jump on that train yet. But the way he handles himself so far is a good sign.
