Some Mocks have Grant going at the end of the 1st and some have in going in the 2nd. I think he's very underrated. Could he have been one of the reasons Graham was as successful as he was? I'd love to get him. I'd trade a pick from next year's draft to get him so we can still get the other players that we want. That's how much potential I think that he has.
I have seen several draft people mention that 5-10-5 drill is a good indicator for success in OL.

...why would he move to guard? He's plenty big enough, and destroyed those future Amazon drivers in college.

I think they were hinting at his lack of athletic measurables, I'm guessing

Outside of QB, LT is the hardest position to fill. Many teams need OT's. The overall quality in the league is lacking more than any other position. My fear is that we're going to see a run on OT's with Campbell, Membou, Banks Jr, Simmons, Conerly Jr., and Ersery all going in the first round. If a team has a vital need at OT, they MUST draft OT in the first round. Its not sexy or exciting but a hole at that position will tank your season no matter how good the rest of the roster is.

All these mock draft websites rate players differently and create a false sense of who might be available at #38.

I'm hoping for the trade down even if Carter is avail at #4. His presence will likely lead to a better offer from someone in love with him. Ideally I'd like to trade down to 6-10 and pick up an additional 2nd rounder+ in the process and take whoever is they think is the best LT.
