Will there be a run on linebackers as there was on defensive linemen a few years ago. How will this affect the plans of the patriots?

Hope not. You still need to get those 300 pounders that can move.

Linebackers are a much more subjective area.

In a deep draft, some teams might prefer a 2nd or even 3rd round guy.

Why jump, then?

The question is what position will the surprise 1st round picks come from?
