With BB's penchant for wheeling and dealing, I will frankly be shocked if NE ends up using all 4 picks. I think they will either trade up to target players, or trade back for more future picks. (Most likely the former.)

I'm curious to see what the consensus is on the board ...

I think they pick 4 this year.....rigth now I see room for OLB, WR, Safety and with the free agents next year I fully expect a OL and DL to be drafted pretty high (first 3 rounds) so I could see us keeping most of those picks.

I certainly see us trading some 4-7 though for next year as there is a limit to space on the roster.

Normally I would have said 3, but in this deep draft I could see using all 4. In particular, I could see using #89 to trade up (34 -> 26, 47 -> 33, or 58 -> 43, in terms of the value charts) to go after specific prospects that we target.

If things don't fall right, then trading one of the picks back into 2010 is always an option. But I could easily see us filling needs on the 1st day at OT, OG/C, WR, DE, OLB, SILB, and S. If the values are there, I'm not sure we would do better by trading into 2010.

Love to see 4, but I voted 3... BB trades so often for the next year's draft it would surprise me to see them go for all 4. Also, I think the fact they'll no doubt get a comp #3 to add to their first three rounds will play a factor.

The middle pick in the 2nd could easily go for next year's first rounder - to a team that thinks they'll be a SB contender and therefore will be picking low in the first.

I went with 3 also, although 4 seems just as likely.

I'm figuring on a trade of a pick for a player and a packaging of 2 picks to move up or down for a targeted player....

I'm gonna go with 3...

Obviously a guess.
