Over time people will see the BS that this was. However, the way things are going, the NFL won't be the same 10 years from now. Mark Cuban is right that the NFL is headed for a serious blow. It's not if but when it will happen.

10 years from now, people will still remember this. It will still come up, in the same way that Spygate still comes up. It won't be in the first sentence that everyone talks about, though. And as long as the Pats keep winning, I don't think it'll define them, at least to anyone that isn't a total idiot.
