wait...i know this one....
Vinny Testaverde?
Ever get that punched in the gut feeling? I wish he would have talked after the game and downplayed it at least.

Bryan Cox?
Bryan Cox?
I like where this is heading.
But that's exactly what I meant. After Brady went down last year you probably didn't think we'd go 11-5 either. Point is, the team is more than Brady, though I wasn't speaking to you as much as the guys who said they'd stop following the Pats if Brady went down or that our season would be over.Playing along, I don't think we'd go 11-5 this year with no Brady
You bet.haynsforth that big fat piece of sh#@. he intentionally drilled brady..

did anyone else see Kevin O connell??? Please dear lord, bring back Brady healthy...
It depends on the degree of separation. Could be as little as a couple of weeks rest, which would have him ready week 1. But AC joint ("separated shoulder") was my initial guess, after seeing the replay. I don't know much about rotator cuffs; I've had the AC joint injury and surgical repair years later to clean out the joint and resurface the bone. From my standpoint the AC joint is the least scary possibility.Assuming it's not the worst injury(torn rotator cuff) what's the recovery time for a separated shoulder?
Realistically, our Super Bowl hopes would be over. But that's exactly what I meant. After Brady went down last year you probably didn't think we'd go 11-5 either. It could be a blessing in disguise...
Maybe even better if he is out for week one. The Patriots are favored everywhere...a bit of early season adversity could be very good for this year's team. Tom is a tough guy (which he has proven over the years). This isn't season ending, so he WILL be playing. But...like I said...it may not be a bad thing for him to be injured early.
