Any Pats fans who have made the Buffalo trip know of a good (cheap) place to stay near the stadium? I'm making my maiden voyage to a Pats at Bills game this year.

The places near the stadium could be termed as trash. We stay about 15 minutes away at the Sleep inn in amherst,ny. There are a ton of restaurants in the area, plus its between Buffalo and Niagara. The price is good and a really nice hotel.

I'm staying at the Sheraton in Niagra Falls, NY...it's about 35 miles to the stadium but I get a discount through work.

It's my first Pats away game...I can't wait, should be a great time.

You'll love the roadtrip. The taxidrivers and restaurant people love patriots weekend- it's there super bowl. They get a ton of people in from New England and they spend. We're heading in on friday early aft then leaving on monday aft. The anchor bar is a must, it's the original home of buffalo wings. Anyone in Amherst should hit Tullys Sports bar on Niagara Falls Blvd, last year it was BC/FSU then Bruins with a major boston influence.

Hey guys, we're looking into possibly having a patriots fan meetup/rally on saturday. We're looking at St. James Sports Bar & Grill In kenmore which is just outside city of Buffalo and close to Niagara falls too. Wondering who'd be interested, Doug and I have been throwing the idea around.

Last year we stayed at the Hampton Inn near the airport, it's about half way between Niagara Falls (and the Casino) and the stadium. Pretty good price, even though it is in the middle of a bunch of strip malls. There's a Famous Dave's BBQ right next to it, and across the way is Jack Aster's, which ended up being a pretty good sports bar. We went there Saturday night when the Sabers and Bruins were playing. We liked it so much we're going back again this year.
