Bet he's going to the Bills. Davis is very overrated as a WR2, and they're absolutely screwed if Diggs ever gets hurt.

The Bills have no cap space this year and -$14M in cap space for 2024. They still will use -$5M to -$10M more this year which has to be spread to future years. The Bills lost Edmunds, probably their best defender, in FA this year. I expect the Bills could play cap games to sign Hopkins, but they would be in cap hell and lose more players to FA next year. They need to sign defenders and not lose them, so I doubt they sign Hopkins.

D-Hop has been injured the last 2 years.

He wasn't injured last year. He missed 6 games because of a suspension. He sat out the last 2 games because Cardinals were a dumpster fire. Probably why they ended up clearing house after the season.

Impossible! The cap is crap!

Jaguars could be a sleeper to add more around Lawrence while they have some room.

Lions could also be a sleeper as they had a "good" offense last season with cap room to spare.

Bills did a terrible job addressing the WR position. After Diggs' antics during the Bengals game, you'd think he's losing his patience in how this team keeps losing.

Rodgers should do everything he can to get Hopkins in NYC as he is a similar player to Adams.

Hopkins doesn't have much options if he wants to play for a contender. He may end up with a team in purgatory.

would this be the same "cap hell" that KC was going to be in after they signed the massive Mahomes deal?

Used HGH to get well. Older bodies need an accelerant to heal.

Hopkins apparently just posted a photo on Instagram of a tv at a gym he’s at with the Patriots 28-3 Super Bowl on it. Could be nothing, but if it is it’s a strange thing to post.

3 things happening here. One, he’s trolling and loves being such a big topic of discussion at the moment in the nfl world. Also, if Hop & his agent can convince other teams of his interest with other teams, he can possibly squeeze a few more pennies out of what may be his last contract. OBJ played the waiting game and it worked out for him. No reason to believe Hop can’t do the same.

Which is why he hired a new agent

Why do people get upset with a player who "is saying all the right things" but then "signs the best deal he could get?" That's the name of the game. It is just smart business: look like you care about winning, then maximize your short career window earnings and optimize several generations of your family's well being.

Especially when you don’t actually know which teams are going to be excellent. Other than the Chiefs

KC and Buffalo are losing good players BECAUSE OF THE CAP

Trying to ignore it doesnt change the reality

There is a salary cap... you can twist and bend it to squeeze some room out, but you can only do it so many times before you make future years untennable

Absolutely right!! The owners benefited the same way by way of generational wealth the same way..

Buffalo has the additional problem of Diggs being upset that he’s not getting the ball enough, and adding Hopkins will only hurt his feelings even more.

If your core players play well and if you draft well you can always work around the salary cap. The Saints did it for years with Brees
