Honestly have no idea how that Defense can be fixed

This is extreme so hear me out
Rowe is the future
Jonathan Jones has a place
Cyrus Jones has a place
Justin Coleman Jag
Logan Ryan will get more money than he is worth elsewhere
Malcom Butler traded for draft capital too expense for a 5 9 DB
Ninkovich Retire
Chris Long Retire
Jabal Sheard unless he finds a new groove bye

Alan Branch needs a good payday in the 5 mill range could happen here, im going to say no he walks

Hightower will be our leader.

Mingo re ups here

That gives us a core of Mccourty, Chung,Rowe,Jones and Jones with Coleman as a Jag in the secondary
Addition?
Id throw alot of money at Stephen Gilmore. It weakens a division rival gives us a tall long fast physical db who is just hitting his prime.
If wed throw a brinks truck at anyone could it Be KC Poe?
Speaking of KC would love to get Dee Ford in a pats uniform.
So as far as linebackers go on our team you have Hightower presumebly and Belochicks binkie and a bunch of question marks Mclein Van Noy Mingo sounds dire and it almost is.
So where do you refill this cupboard.
Well I think you look at teams with ferocious defense and bad records they have alot of depth so you take some low level trades on guys with a mean streak and upside.
For the D line the gig is up unless you make a monster splash in free agency you draft the crap out of it.
Im serious aside from Brown and Flowers you have no future at that line.
Weve done a horrible job addressing it.
We have guys who cant get to the QB its really sad QBs are getting comfortable and QBs are picking us apart.
Now the assnine motion to rush 2 is more than likely rushing 4 of our d lineman gets little to no more pressure than 4 and thats sad.
So here we are best QB of all time and he has to take a JV defense and put up 40 a game so he feels comfortable enough to relax and sip his gatorade.
Enough is enough build the freaking defense get some new blood on the coaching staff who has the tenacity to create pressure.

I think they will. This defense is somewhere in between the unit that shut out Houston and the pile of hot garbage we saw on Sunday night.

Hoping they will, Sunday can't come quick enough.

They don't create a lot of turnovers..and a lot of that is luck. I think that will start to change soon as it almost has too where we see some teams coughing up the ball and us getting some TOs

You and others are formulating this doomsday scenario when games are the only window to see players for you. I love how quickly people forget the amount of work and preparation that goes on 24/7 throughout the week that you don't have access to.

People were calling BB out when he didn't take a timeout in the SB, guess what there was a reason for that. People were claiming how lucky the Pats got with the Butler INT, guess what it was a play that they specifically prepared for.

You can doubt the coaching staff as much as you want but they have proven again and again that in the long run they know what they are doing. And just because people don't understand it or it goes against conventional wisdom doesn't mean that it's bad.

In the long run that's great. I wonder if Jones Collins and Easley would help them now?

Am I understanding this right that at one point last night we dropped 9 players into coverage only rushing 2??? Like I must be imagining that. Is that right?

Maybe took that from Rex Ryan's 2010 Divisional game playbook.

the DL was alot better vs seattle. trey flowers seems to be coming out. we had a few sacks on wilson.

but its the secondary that is failing us. and its roughly the same secondary from last year. so its not personnel...its coaching and scheme. ryan/butler are much better in man to man. but even when they went man vs seattle there were defensive breakdowns. that is coaching imo.

Different D Line. Last year this team had 49 sacks i believe. It was much stronger the d line.

Starting the season, we all knew that our weakest unit was to be our corners.

Rowe is the future.

Being Inactive at this point in the season speaks volumes maybe Eric Rowe sucks. Always beaten like a drum Justin Coleman beat him out on Game Day. On Rowe I am not buying would rather sell.

I don't think Jonathan Jones could play any worse than Ryan or Coleman but I am not BB so what do I know.

I don't think Butler goes anywhere imo

Wouldn't like to see this current D without Butler he's still the Best Cover Man on this pathetic D.

What's he worth is the bigger question.

Butler check the boxes so to speak he can cover Tackle and brings the lumber in run support. I can see us franchising him given the alternatives.

Gilmore has been a disaster this season. Bills fans don't want him back; they're just worried about whether he'll still get them a decent comp pick or if he has ruined his value too much for that.

Seattle's offensive line had two UDFA at tackle, and the rest are late round draft picks and still the pats couldn't mount any pressure!!

Fixing the defense, at least this year, is not the question, the real question is why did BB break it to begin with?

If the defense fails again i wouldn't mind them bringing up another big time player on defense through free agency. Some guys on defense will be gone for their crappy play. I am surprised sheard has struggle.

Not a fan of gilmore. Trumaine Johnson's a different story.
