It's easy, and only takes a few moments. It's great to be a Patriot.Man...having trouble getting rid of that annoying cap space. Maybe we'll just keep Danny at 6 million so it doesn't burn a hole in our pockets...just loving what this must look like to non-Pats fans. There they are, most loaded team in the league, getting guys for bargains and signing premier players that fit their system whenever they like. And they STILL have more cap space than we do! Just loving it.
well, when you're presistently the best run franchise in football these things happenMan...having trouble getting rid of that annoying cap space. if it's 4/35m and 8m in incentives it's still kind of a 4/43m deal as of right now, doesn't stop being a 4/43m deal until the first time he doesn't hit an incentive.

In all seriousness though, cap space is more for just signing free agents. It can be used to frontload contracts (like a TB extension), unused cap space can be rolled over into the next year, etc...Man...having trouble getting rid of that annoying cap space. Good analogy... though I could argue there's no such thing as having everything from Best Buy. I can always think of something. No kidding. Its like have a $5k gift card for Best Buy when you already have everything and refuse to pay their high prices.

Yup. We know that a LB group of Hightower, Roberts, Van Noy, McCellin may not be ideal but it works. Roberts will likely improve too. Still have the draft to improve depth as well.
edit: Also Freeny returns
Because the agent puts them out.I'm suprised that anyone is suprised by this. NONE of these deals, especially the big ones, ever end up being what they are originally reported they were. Have we ever seen a tweet about a contract number that we later found was actually higher? I don't THINK so.
At any rate, he's back, he's happy, and the Pats are a better team for the transaction.
Aside from free agency I would love to see them do extensions for James White, Deion Lewis, Nate Solder, and Trey Flowers.
Win or lose the Playoff bonuses make up the difference Not to mention the rediculous tax rates that make Taxachusetts seem semi-sane.Play for a team poised to go to another superbowl for 10.85 million.
Or play for a team that is oised to win 3 games next year for an additional 125k or so
Tough choice!
I saw this earlier and had to go to sleep for a while...lol
I like how it said he never considered the jets...the man is wise
Definitely White and Flowers. I think Flowers has the makings of something special.Aside from free agency I would love to see them do extensions for James White, Deion Lewis, Nate Solder, and Trey Flowers.
