While Tom Brady was optimistic about his return, saying on WEEI’s Dennis & Callahan show this morning he thought he’d be ready to go for the Pats season opener Sept. 7 against Kansas City, we should point out that there was a walking cast at the foot of Brady’s locker. The removable boot sure looked a lot like the one he wore the week before the Super Bowl, when he was filmed wearing it in New York, when he was nursing that high right ankle sprain.
The Pats quarterback has claimed that while it’s the same leg, it’s a different injury. Obviously, even if it’s a different problem altogether, it was interesting to see a return visit from the infamous boot.
He's at practice, taking snaps and throwing, but he's got a boot. Hmm, weird.
whats that supposed to mean?
BB put it there right before press access..............
Doesn't mean anything - I think its weird. If he needed a boot to walk around, I'd be very surprised he'd be out there throwing at practice. The two don't add up.
Is it a boot or a walking cast. A walking cast can be not much of anything. My guess is that he wears a walking cast when not practicing for preventative measures.

His college teammates nicknamed him “The Natural” and marveled at Welker’s toughness. Because of a nasty case of turf toe, he spent nearly every waking hour wearing a protective plastic boot – except when he was practicing or playing in a game.
Actually, not necessarily:
I only wish Tomase had gotten the infamous boot.Obviously, even if it’s a different problem altogether, it was interesting to see a return visit from the infamous boot.

Does anybody really think that if The Patriots didn't want the press to see that boot, they wouldn't ? The sheep took the bait !
When will they learn ?
