We can all be proud.
FYI, Mike Reiss updated his article to reflect that Schefter has heard that Haynesworth will receive no disciplinary actions from the league:

BTW, I am guessing that Belichick and/or Kraft checked with the league before making the trade to get a barometer on whether Haynesworth would get a suspension from this incident before they made the trade.

Isn't anybody going to thank me for saving football in New England?
i bet that is exactly what happened. No way this team makes the trade without consulting the league commisioner and in house counsel.
Hey, I gave you a Like; will that suffice?
Hard to believe he won't get some sort of suspension. Even if Goodell is inclined to let this incident pass as run-of-the-mill, I have to think that there will be enough noise from outside the NFL decrying the sexism of the locker room that there will be enough pressure for him to get a 2 to 4-game suspension. Still, he'll be a bargain for the Pats.

First round draft pick....and a suspensionExcellent post Boomer.
However, should Albert be convicted even without jail, Jets fan Commissioner Goodell will certainly impose a league suspension on Albert.
I'm hoping Albert will appreciate that the Patriots took a chance on him and his play will reflect this.
