lmao-We have had tens of thousands of patriot fans attend practices, many of whom post here, and daily camp threads and NONE of them reported that tebow was playing well, and we have had local media at every practice and pre-season game, and none of them have reported that Tebow was playing well, in fact all who said anything said just the opposite and you turn to "coicidentally Joe" to support your claim that the practice reports on tebow have been positive. Wow, talk about desperate.

I mentioned this in my notes, but Tebow had a strong day at camp today. One #Bucs beat guy said he was best #5 on the field, not J.Freeman.

@GeoffMosherCSN:
Tim Tebow just made three really crisp throws against the eagles third team defense.

Tebow on rollouts is dead on 3 for 3. Stand dropback, not so much #patriots camp

Tebow with perfect 45 yd strike to Quinton Sims.

Tebow spoiled as hell right now. Hitting Amendola and Boyce on back to back beautiful plays. Good luck covering Boyce.

Tebow with back to back long TD passes to Slater and Sudfeld. Not gonna lie, his ball looks decent. Sudfeld smooth as hell

Tom Brady and Tim Tebow had terrific performances on Tuesday. In my opinion Tim Tebow made the pass of the day when he threw an absolutely perfect deep ball to Lavelle Hawkins during one-on-one drills. Cornerback Logan Ryan couldn't have played the ball better but Tebow put the pass right into his breadbasket. Tebow has improved everyday and I think he could potentially pass Ryan Mallett on the depth chart.

I'd say Tebow's best practice. Can see some good things in him. Progressing

@AlbertBreer:
Tebow's still catching passes ... Lining up with back and receivers in a (non-contact) tackling drill.

Tim Tebow was catching passes in drills. Blows everyone's mind. (Actually looked good.) #patriots

Tom Brady had a light day of work with the white team, leaving Ryan Mallett to quarterback the group for much of the practice; Tim Tebow was quarterback of the blue team. The two sides were competitive, even doing their dynamic and static stretching on different fields and celebrating big plays from their teammates.
Training camp daily briefing: Sunday, Aug. 4 - Extra Points - Boston.com

Tim Tebow took a few goal line reps with the first unit, but once again spent most of the day working with the threes and fours. He threw a nice slant pass to TE Jake Ballard for a touchdown and a quick hitch to WR Kamar Aiken for another score
Patriots? intensity is up in joint practice with Eagles - Sports - The Boston Globe

Tim Tebow – He took most of the snaps and certainly had his share of good reps, but also had some “what the heck was that” plays. Tebow started off team drills by completing three straight passes. First he hit Aaron Dobson on a 15 yard out and then zipped a completion to Michael Hoomanawanui up the seam, beating tight coverage. Two throws specifically stand out to me. One was a 30 yard touch pass in which he led Josh Boyce to the endzone and the other was a back-corner endzone throw to Quentin Sims. Both throws showed good timing and good touch. When Tebow wants to, he can rip the ball with good velocity. His mobility in relation to any other QB on the roster is evident. On one occasion he rolled out to his right, only to see Justin Francis in his face. He was able to elude Francis and turned the corner for a huge gain.

2. Tim Tebow is improving: Let’s just get this out of the way now. Tebow was really bad when training camp first started up. There were some chuckles in the media tent over his inability to get rid of the ball on time, look off his first target or even deliver a ball in the general vicinity of his intended receiver. But Tebow showed some real improvement by the time Wednesday’s practice had finished.

After a sloppy performance on Monday night, Tom Brady and Tim Tebow had terrific performances on Tuesday. Besides a few overthrows on goal line drills, Tom Brady was on target all afternoon long. Brady and Danny Amendola seem to be building chemistry every day and I look forward to seeing them in live game action. One of the top plays of the day was a stunning one-handed catch by tight end Zach Sudfeld. Even though it was a difficult grab, Brady put it perfectly over the head of Adrian Wilson, who had pretty good coverage on the play. In my opinion Tim Tebow made the pass of the day when he threw an absolutely perfect deep ball to Lavelle Hawkins during one-on-one drills. Cornerback Logan Ryan couldn't have played the ball better but Tebow put the pass right into his breadbasket. New England Patriots Training Camp - Day Five Observations - Pats Pulpit

At the beginning of training camp, I was critical of quarterbacks Tim Tebow and Ryan Mallett. While I feel my analysis was fair, both look much better since the first two days of camp. That being said, much better for both of them is still not where they need to be at this point.

lmfao.....................multiple reports of Tebow going 3-3 and "perfect throw.

In related news Jake Bequette just made a tackle in 7-7's and i-Dowling was seen stretching without hurting himself. F..king hilarious. And a nice slant pass as well. You convinced me, he's awesome, sign the beast to a twenty year deal.

Isn't derek havens "manxman?"

I don't know if these guys are posting the camp reports about Tebow because they think Tebow should make the team. Rather, I think it's simply a case of refuting your claim:

Clearly, there were a LOT of reports from camp where reporters and fans were noting that Tebow *was* playing well.

My mistake, i shouldn't have said "none' as i forgot that the Tebow worshippers were there as well and he could wipe his ass and they would fall over in ecstasy. The vast majority of the camp reports I read and media reports were to the effect that Tebow was playing like crap, and that was supported by his play in the pre-season games. I will however look forr actual media reports that he was actually playing well instead of camp tweets from the Tebow cult telling us how awesome his 8 yard pass to Dobson was.

I still stand by my overall point which is that Tebow has played poorly both in camp and games and isn't even close to deserving a spot on this roster, regardless of what his cult followers want to believe.

At this point, I basically made you eat your words and you have no comeback (in regards to no positive comments about Tebow).

Its not like everybody reading this doesn't see it.

I read a number of your posts about camp and they went directly to tweets from havens so i thought it could be you. I do however know where everyone lives simply by their username so it was my mistake for not knowing your address. However Given your beliefs about tebow's ability to play in the NFL it is very possible you could be Miley Cyrus

yep, you were definitely able to back up your position with coincidentally Joe and tweets raving about the slant Tebow threw. I on the other hand have pre-season games where he sucked beyond belief to support my claim that he is a horrible QB, however we all know that Coincidentally Joe easily trumps a zero passer rating.

Should i respond with the 8 million tweets and media reports about how bad he is playing, or would that be trolling, because i can easily demonstrate that the vast majority of reports are very very negative, and a few tweets doesn't change that reality one bit.

Let me know, I have to go about my day but can link to an unbelievable amount of negative reports on tebow's play if people need to see that. If you wish to pretend he is playing well and deserves a spot then by all means do so, i know better and so do the vast majority of Patriot fans, as evidenced by the % of those who think he should be released.

You are I were not debating whether Tebow belongs on the team since I think there is a likelihood he will be cut (I hope not obviously) . We were debating whether anyone has said anything positive about Tebow during practice.

I proved they had, so you can keep replying all you want trying to get the last word in but you basically just choked on your words with no comeback.

BTW Miley, you really didn't do yourself any favors at the VMA's last night, the meat dress would have been a better choice.

just sayin, not hatin, you really do grab your bug way too much.

Does that make you a lesbian?

Shouldn't have said NONE, forgot about the cult momentarily. I will provide an encyclopedia of negative reports to refute it if you want, let me know, when i have a few hours to link to all the negative i will start a thread devoted simply to the thousands of negative reviews, they far outweigh the positive from the cult of Timmy.

I on the other hand will refrain from saying what it is that you have been choking, or rather gagging on.

I really need to get going, let me know if you want the thread devoted to negative tweets and reviews of timmy's play, I will only do it at request. unlike you i am actually not a troll and really am a Patriots fan.

BTW manx, i really have no problem with you, even though you are English, I just disagree completely on Tebow. Sorry about your teeth though, it's a terrible thing for a people to be stuck with, but thanks for the potato famine and occupation, we really appreciated it.

Haven't read the thread at all but NO.
The Pats should (EDIT) CUT #5 now. As in today.

This poll thread has its own life because it is a vvalid question to ask whether or not a player has earned a spot on this team by playing horribly. Don't ike it, too bad, just put it on ignore until Timmy goes to his next team.

Demosthenes has acknowledged that Tebow hasn't played well enough to make the team but still wants him on it, that's "no matter what," and it is your problem that you are too ignorant to understand that. When you know a player doesn't deserve it but still want them on the team then their performance is irrelevant, you just love the player.

Bottom line, you aren't a Patriot fan and really have no business trying to tell us what we can or cannot post. we were here long before you and timmy showed up and we will be here long after both of you are gone, and for me that can't come soon enough.

Again you are ignoring the difference between someone wanting a player on the team and someone thinking that the player will make the team.

At this point, I almost have to believe that you are engaging in some intellectual dishonesty and are doing it purposely. Either that, or you are the one who is being "too ignorant to understand".

Are you really Irish or just one of those Yanks that pretends to be?

Thanks for the input! you are the first person that has said that in the thread . Its nice to hear a fresh perspective.
