Hi all,
I just randomly came across this message board and logged in under a member called Ice_Ice_Brady (I cracked his password!)
My name is Joe Roberts, and I live just outside of Boston. Since I see you guys are affiliated with my friend's employer, I though I would check in and see if anyone has seen him. I hought I would just ask if any of you have seen my buddy, who I've been trying to track down for a few months.
My buddy, Jim, and I go way back... we've been friend for a long time; in fact, ever since we were kids. We went to elementary school, middle school, and high school together. You might say that we are lifetime friends. Jim is a really good guy... in fact, I have a story for you...
...when Jim was a kid, he used to suck the helium out of balloons and make funny talking sounds; it cracked us up. After that point, we nicknamed him "The Deflator"!!! He loves the nickname, and sometimes he even refers to himself as The Deflator, like when we are texting and he's joking around. He likes to joke and say, "hey, come on now, lets help out the deflator!" He's a character.
Oh, one more thing about Jim. He also likes to joke about going to ESPN. It's kind of an inside joke, but he has always thought it would be a lot of fun to go to the studio and pretend he is a sportscaster. Well, you probably don't care anyway, but I just randomly thought of it.
Anyway, back to looking for Jim McNally (that's his last name.) Haven't seen him a while and was wondering if someone here might be able to direct me to his whereabouts. I know he was recently working a really cool job with the New England Patriots and was responsible for preparing Tom Brady's footballs within legal limits. Jim used to always tell me about how Tom would get really, really mad if any of the balls were below 12.5 PSI because that would be a rule violation, and Tom hates those!!! At least, I think that's what he said. I am just a neutral, unbiased bystander who has no skin in the game; I don't even like football!
Dave also mentioned something about some blue and white football team- I think one with a drunk owner- who was trying to get him and Tom in trouble because they keep losing by a lot of points.
Again, if anyone happens to see Jim McNally, aka The Deflator, please let him know that Joe is looking for him, and if he lost his cell phone, tell him to send me the new number. I am a little worried because sometimes Jim gets freaked out when he goes into bathrooms, and I hope he didn't get freaked. He'll sometimes even go to a bathroom that is out of his way because the location just feels better to him, and his doctor recommended it.
