Yes Rodney being Rodney I guess. He pushed Lorenzen after a play, where Lorenzen apparently hit Mike Wright a little hard or something like that. Some Giants player then pushed Rodney. They were both penalized and the penalties were offset.

Lorenzen had a nice blindside hit on Mike Wring. Not illegal, just hard. Rodney saw that and decided he wanted none of that. So he let Lorenzen know he saw him. God i love Harrison.

Me too

From Breer's blog(Harrison re: the push)
“I’m always going to protect our players,†said Harrison, who was looking out for Mike Wright on the play in question. “That’s just the way I am.â€

I love that guy

Yes Harrison absolutely has the best lines. Great to have him back. Also there was some hard hitting going on after that among the starters.

Actually, it was a block in the back, hence illegal. The Giants' broadcasters, who we got to listen to in the first half of the NFL network replay, where very critical of the block and Lorenzen opening himself up to Rodney's retaliation, not to mention the normal shots teams like to take on an opposing QB/K when they stick their nose outside the protective shell of the O-line.

Lorenzen followed the play upfield and committed an illegal block in the back. Bad decision for a QB but still, it was great guts on his part. Rodney and he exchanged words briefly. Rodney pushed said QB and the QB flopped like a NBA player. Penalty. Meanwhile, a Giant did similarly dumb action and was also seen to do so. Hell, I'm on Rodney's side and see nothing particularly "wrong" with it so...

BTW: It was an illegal block in the the back, contrary to what was said before

PS: Rodney pushed the QB after an ugly block by someone and deservedly so.

I didn't see anything gutsy about it at all. It was a cheap shot by a pig-faced tub of goo Qb who should know better than to piss off defensive lineman. He's more of a mascot, really, than a QB anyway.

Yeah, yeah. If he was our back-up QB and ran upfield to block for his RB, would you say the same? He's a pretty beefy gut and capable of laying a lick on somebody. He had a good idea, had no idea how to implement it, should have never done it in the first place, and was penalized for it. He's a football player.

I wrote gut but meant guy.

Rail away...

I think it's interesting that Harrison said "our players" instead of my "my teammates". Spoken like a leader and a coach. I like it

Liked Rodney, really like that Lorenzen had a decent preseason. Come on man. How entertaining would that be every Sunday, one day???
