I think the Bills match up well with KC. They're still my pick to come out of the AFC.Bill's have the 49ers and Chiefs coming up and if we could beat them twice that's 6 losses. Just saying.

Bill's are a poor man's version of the 90s they are destined to loose a couple more times to the Chiefs and never even make a SB.I think the Bills match up well with KC. They're still my pick to come out of the AFC.
It was a long time ago but I remember a team at the turn of the century who didn't have a number 1 pick one year, selected 6 the following year without trading back, skipped on the weapon everyone thought we desperately needed, and took a 5tech DL despite still needing to replace a decade long LT and then got that LT in Rd 2.
Trading back is certainly not the only way.
9 games left, predicting 6-3 assuming Maye is back for the Bears game:
@ Tenn: W
@ Chi: W
Rams: L
@ Mia: L
Indy: W
Bye
@ AZ: W
@ Buf: L
Chargers: W
Buf: W = final record of 8-9
The wins after the bye week are the most questionable, but AZ is right after our bye, the Chargers are here in late December, and the Bills may have nothing to play for and rest everybody.
The Bills are 2-2 vs KC in the regular season since 2020 so they can hang with them. They've also come too close to beating the Chiefs the last couple of times in the playoffs. They are due for one of these close ones to go their way IMO.Bill's are a poor man's version of the 90s they are destined to loose a couple more times to the Chiefs and never even make a SB.
They were due for a SB to break their way too. They're still waiting. The Bills are 2-2 vs KC in the regular season since 2020 so they can hang with them. Eh they were only competitive in one Super Bowl. The "break" on the kicked ball didn't go their way lolThey were due for a SB to break their way too. They're still waiting.
I didn’t say it was Brady’s fault, but I also didn’t attribute 20+ years of success to one player like you did… that’s garbage.2006 riddled with injury lost to Denver divisional
2007 pissed down our pants in AFCCG
2008 ugh... no need to even mention
2009 lost at home to Ravens
2010 loss at home to Jets in divisional
2011 made it to superbowl lost again
2012 lost at home to Ravens AFCCG
2013 lost at Denver in playoffs
2014 won against Seahawks
So that 10 year stretch we didn't win your summizing that was bradys fault?
Absolutely correct. I pinpointed that teams comparable to where we are.. Washington and Chicago. Both have rookie QBs. Washington new ownership and coaching staff. They are far more talented as a roster than we are currently. For example give Drake McLaren or Keenan Allen. Or DJ Moore he would be even better.Taking a bad Patriots team completely devoid of talent and making them great by coaching? I don't think so. That's not his fault because that can't be done.
A coach of Bill's pedigree can turn a good team into a great one (and he has) and also prevent a subpar team from completely cratering (he's done that too at least until last season) but coaching just can't turn a bad team into a great one. It's all about having good players.
He got smoked multiple times yesterday by Quinnen Williams and came back to Earth. The opposition matters.Yeah I agree the OL is a joke.. however we do have a find with Benny brown. I believe he makes it easier to transition from Andrews. Our WRs aren't terrible I'd say just not game changers.
I never said it was "just" brady.. I simply mention he had ALOT to do with it. A coach can coach all they want if brady never executed than the offense doesn't score. The job of the players is to execute, and allow their talent to make plays.I didn’t say it was Brady’s fault, but I also didn’t attribute 20+ years of success to one player like you did… that’s garbage.
Brady doesn’t have 7 rings and his peers, the best of the best, have one or none because Tom was six times better than they were.
It’s a team sport, it takes a team to win a ring. When Brady won a ring it’s because he had the best team around him. Peyton Manning had to play the Patriot defense, not Tom.
It’s hard to win a ring, just because the dynasty made it look easy doesn’t make it so.
Brown has been far from the problem. Dave Andrews got handled by quinnen Williams too. Quinnen is a top 5 DL..He got smoked multiple times yesterday by Quinnen Williams and came back to Earth. The opposition matters.
The coaches have to get on the WR’s and have them do better.
How many of those peers have 7 rings from someone else?I didn’t say it was Brady’s fault, but I also didn’t attribute 20+ years of success to one player like you did… that’s garbage.

It's interesting how Brady has more rings than any other player in NFL history - and the Dilfer's, Flaccos and the rest of the "along for the ride" QB's never have more than one. Not that hard to understand why. It’s a team sport, it takes a team to win a ring. When Brady won a ring it’s because he had the best team around him. Peyton Manning had to play the Patriot defense, not Tom.
I can think of one former Patriots QB who made it look easy. It’s hard to win a ring, just because the dynasty made it look easy doesn’t make it so.
Not much to add to that. 4, maybe 5.In the preseason prediction thread, I had us at 2-6 by this point, and I had four for the season. So feeling like it's 4 with a fifth possible.
Don't sleep on Arizona: Maye would have to play lights out to give us a chance...Murray is playing very good.Tennessee, Arizona, Chicago, Miami andSan DiegoThe Chargers are all winnable.
I guess what I am saying is that none of those teams are juggernauts that are playing at Super Bowl type levels. I know the Any Given Sunday thing, but I don't think any of us place those teams as elite NFL competition.Don't sleep on Arizona: Maye would have to play lights out to give us a chance...Murray is playing very good.
