Christian Hackenberg visiting the Patriots

Posted in the Jete suck thread yesterday it wouldn't surprise me if he got a look from someone after he cleared waivers as a camp arm/long shot and today that someone is New England

my new favorite candidate to be Brady’s successor!!!
Jetes won’t allow him to take a snap he comes here sits 3 years while Brady continues to humiliate the jete, then when Brady retires Hackenberg takes over and leads the patriots to the Sb while the jets moved toward the 60 year mark in futility.

I didn’t know he was a Pats fan. Cool of him to stop by.

He blows. Between he and Etling, I think Hoyer’s job as the back-up is safe.

Hope he enjoyed the Toby Keith bar at Patriot Place!

We already have people to sell overpriced beer & hot dogs.

True but there's something to be said for a vendor interview that tweaks the Jete and their fanboys, so there's that

Is this man even capable of throwing a football?

One has to worry about a guy who couldn’t even get garbage time reps for the Jets.

TBH if I had a concern it would be that he barely got a cup of coffee in Oakland, the Jete could screw up a free lunch

a.) I like screwing with the Jetsters.

b.) The Pats must have talked to O'Brien about Hackenberg in the past....

c.) Who do we cut if we sign him....unsure.....

He's the longest of longshots but if he has PS eligibility I would have no problem having him and Ettling on the roster for the year, never to be seen, working with Jerry Schuplinski and see if something usable comes out on the other end. Very likely not, of course. Very, very, very likely.

It better not be Andrew Jelks. That man is immortal

I think Tebow had a better chance of making this roster when he was here.

Worry about him or worry that the jete have a clue?
