Are you expecting Slater to be cut?

Steuber- 59

like most of the picks... but

Stueber 59?

is a terrible number for an o-lineman... maybe if he's just going to ride the IR short bus for the season and can change it next year (if he makes the team beyond the practice squad)

Disagree I love 50's for certain OL.

Yeah, #18 hopefully isn't available!

That list of available numbers is very inaccurate. 13 is Nordin, 18 is Slater, 24 is Bledsoe, 79 and 89 are retired. The real list is:

11, 19, 25, 34, 41, 43, 47, 50, 53, (54 - Hightower), 67, 80, 88, 96, 97, 99

Numbers can also be shared between offensive and defensive players during the preseason, and it happens fairly often.

I'm picking these on the assumption that Hines and Stueber's assignments were the "real" numbers, otherwise Strange would get 69. Also assuming the UDFA players with numbers in their normal position range will be keeping theirs, which may not happen.

Strange - 67
Thornton - 19
Marcus Jones - 25
Jack Jones - 11 (seems more likely than some busted looking number in the 30s)
Strong - 34
Zappe - 4 (will share with Butler until one of them changes in September)
Harris - 35 (pretty much out of options here without sharing numbers with someone or picking something in the 40s)
Roberts - 99

Quinn Nordin was waived in June...
