It depends. They guy that threw a punch last week already had one Personal Foul so a second was a automatic ejection.

I agree. My point is not the way things usually run, it's Article 46/Morondell/Pittsburgh game. The SCUMBAG can do whatever he wants before ,after or an hour before gametime because...Article 46.
Scumdell is desperate to ingratiate himself with Jerruh and the other malcontents and the tried and true best way to do that is SCREW THE PATRIOTS. 20 millon dollars spent only to find out "Article 46" should make this apparent. There are no rules as far as Stokoe is concerned. He MAKES up his own as rubberstamped by the US Court Of Appeals.

Mike Evans got a game for a late hit this season.

I hope i'm wrong but i fully expect Gronk to be suspended for a game. the NFL loves to react to media pressure and there's plenty of it pushing for a suspension.

I think what works against Gronk here is that he caused White to potentially sustain a concussion.

Anything involving concussions anymore.. you better believe that suspensions are possible.

Gronk has never been a goon or dirty player and actually plays through all non-calls and muggings he gets and Offensive PIs he gets called on him as well. He reacted off his frustrations and I'm not making excuses for him and a fine might come with it but a suspension should not be tact on. He did apologize as did BB.

OK, any of you watching the pregame on NBC? Dungy, that contemptible skeleton faced liar and Rodney just laid out the penalty that Gronk will get. The league has already made its intentions known through this pregame "opinion" piece. Laughable. Dungy pontificating like HE'S some moral compass...laughable. -The dog and pony show has started...can't wait for the NYC centric media outlets to whip this up into another "gate!".

What makes this look especially bad is three things.......

1.) The target of his aggression suffered an injury. (concussion?)

2.) The player had already been touched (play was clearly over).

3.) If that wasn't enough half of the guy's body was lying on the ground out of bounds (so it was OBVIOUS the play was over).

The hits in the Alonso and Travethon scenarios were far more vicious, but they had a legitimate argument that they were playing to the whistle. For Gronk there is no excuse what-so-ever for what he did. It could not be argued that it was anything other than taking some aggression or frustration. I think that's what makes it worse. A guy got hurt b/c Gronk threw a tantrum. I still love Gronk but if he gets suspended for this I think it will be justified.

Gronk being suspended is for the best. It keeps him both healthy and humble. There was an undisciplined streak with him today before the cheap shot. Too many penalties.

Honestly, a suspension also helps things cool down in Buffalo. I want a reasonably clean game against them in a couple of weeks rather than them jumping at our knees every play. The guy being concussed and Gronk going unpunished will mean they are playing for blood rather than winning. Let's not have a bloodbath.
