I don't normally use the "disagree" and it's no disrespect to you, but c'mon. The "Brady offense?" Did he put it together? Can he beat press coverage for the receivers? Can he run the correct routes for the receivers? Can he catch the ball for them when it bounces both their hands? He had Julian Edelman, who was held together with duct tape, and a bunch of new guys, injured guys and an ancient TE, who was cut because he just wasn't good anymore, and only brought back because the other TE's couldn't stay healthy. And then, as if those weren't factors enough, he had Marshall Newhouse "protecting" his blind side for a huge chunk of the season. Personally, I'm surprised he even remained healthy with as many times he had free rushers putting hands on him. BB choosing to sit on the clock was an indictment of the offense as a unit, not just or even mostly, on Brady.
I really have to wonder what some fans are watching and how they process information. The whole sports world was talking about how Brady had no weapons, but reading this board you'd think he sucked while playing with the '07 offense. It's laughable. It's even more laughable to expect Brady, at this stage, to elevate everyone's play. It's not a realistic expectation. Anyone who refuses to acknowledge that is just flat out a hater.
He can still play at a very high level and I fully expect that to show in Tampa Bay, provided their OL is good enough. He will have the best perimeter guys he's had probably since '07 in a pass happy offense. Brady will prove the doubters wrong once again. Book it.
