Disagree. I have never liked Tom Brady. From early interviews that regaled us with tales of his competitiveness (by throwing a video game console at a TV) to his abandoning a pregnant 'girlfriend' to stories about his unwillingness to work with young players (including Gronk) to rumors that he chased Jimmy G. out of town. I don't like the guy. I do not give him credit for the Patriots success. I seem to remember that the snow bowl that started it all was won on the reversal of a Brady fumble and that the guy who secured that game and the championship was a kicker. That guy won a few Lombardis for this team. Guys like Butler and Edelman and James White had something to do with those championships. Never mind Troy Brown and Clock Killing Corey Dillon -- and
Antowain Smith who won a championship at home in Houston. Oh, and this guy Rodney Harrison who stayed in the game with a broken arm. Did I mention that the team had a decent coach?
You potatoes who sit on the couch looking for the number on the back of your $100 t-shirt should feel free to root for whatever shirt tickles your fancy. The rest of us know that a lot of players contributed to that dynasty.
As for Mrs. TB12 who sniped that her husband cannot throw and catch the ball, some guy named David Patten Patten ran
29 yards for a touchdown, threw a 60-yard TD pass to Troy Brown and caught two touchdown passes himself, including a 91-yarder, the longest pass play for a touchdown in team history -- all in the same game. JE11 also threw the pass and caught the ball.
Gronk, not doubt a stud TE, contributed very little to the championships. He is a d1ck and I wish him nothing but failure.
Brady left this team. I wish him nothing but failure. Brady was here for 20 years. Were it not for Coach, he probably would never have played a game in the NFL. He's gone. Let's see what the TEAM can do going forward.
