Gronk Practicing Thursday 12/10

I agree. My response was to someone who asked "why Belichick would put him out there if he couldn't contribute effectively?"
Not to nitpick, but think he was saying Belichick wouldn't put Gronk out there now if he couldn't contribute, and you pointed to the Super Bowl that he would. But I didn't think that was really analogous to this.

I expect to see Gronk on the field at least for short yardage goal line plays where, for example, three steps can put him in the endzone.

1) Gronk ain't Manny, he's gonna play when he's ready, they probably have to make him sit out.

2) Remember when Gronk got hurt on the extra point and people killed BB for using him in that role?

3). Some are saying if Gronk doesn't play he's soft/over controlled by his dad. If he does play and gets hurt then it'll be,BB shouldn't have listened to talk show hosts and played him. Why can't we just appreciate this amazing super stud?

Agreed. Apologies for any misunderstanding.

Gronk's in Houston. JJ Watt is wetting his bed.

just let gronk play WR in the redzone.
no point in trying to block

uh...wut? Gronk got smashed in his shin running a route...I would think the fIRST thing they'd want from him if he plays is to contribute to the blocking.

I look forward to potentially watching Gronk block JJ Watt. Freakin' sweet!

The Boston Globe reports Rob Gronkowski (questionable, knee) is expected to play Sunday night against the Texans.

It confirms a report by FanDuel's Will Carroll. Gronkowski made the trip to Houston and is a game-time decision. He reportedly looked "fine" in two limited practices this week.

Excited and cautious at the same time.

Well if that's the case, Gronkowski123, Rob, Quantum and last but not least mosslost

"Mr Crow will see you now"

I'm just going to wait for all the nay sayers to voluntarily come out and admit they were wrong. I vote they self ban themselves from the game day thread if gronk is active.

Why is everyone so nervous? Because of the arm situation? Do they not think that due to that situation they wouldn't risk a re-injury if that were a possibility in this one?

Proud that Gronk will play. He's gonna suck it up and help his team. That's what's needed. That's what the greats do

Plus that was kind of a different situation. Gronk had a plate in his arm and he re-broke it because he caught the ball and then used that arm to break his fall.

People out there want to sit him for the rest of the reg season even if healthy...huh? Can't be scared of injuries. It's the NFL..people are going to get hurt. Gronk gets hurt in most because how else you going to take him down. It's what you get unfortunately.

If Gronk does in fact play tomorrow night, I definitely owe him and his father an apology. I can admit I am wrong.
