Gronk: It will be a coach's decision Thursday

I still doubt he plays, but maybe JB starting means they will try and use Gronk to help the rookie

Squeaky and the Douche are going full on BB. "I thought Bill wasn't the doctor" blah blah blah.

I'm only listening because I'm on a diet high in vinegar and water.

I have a good feeling he's going to play.

A big primetime game against a 2-0 conference opponent with a stellar defense, as well as us having to go with either a rookie back-up QB or an injured back-up at QB.

Gronk on the field, 100% or not, makes life easier for the Patriots.

I strongly feel he won't play just due to the simple fact that it's a Thursday night game.

1.) Will much have changed between Sunday (when he wasn't good to play the Dolphins) and Thursday?
2.) With a Thursday game it's awfully tempting to sit a guy to knowing that he'll have an extra half week to rest prior to the next game.

I got my fill for the month listening to those two yesterday.

Anyone seen or heard anything on this yet?

I don't think that's necessarily a factor, as it's not like they're pushing him on a short week. It's possible they only held him out of last game because there would be a quick turnaround, and after this game he'll have a few extra days to rest. I think this being a Thursday gives him a BETTER chance to play than if it was a normal week.

I doubt he plays but who knows

If he's healthy enough to play, then he should play. Every game is important, and there's absolutely no reason why he shouldn't play if he is capable of doing so.

If he's still injured, then obviously not. But I hope no one is saying that if he is ailing but still able to go out and play that we should just sit him anyway, because I don't agree with that mentality at all.

Rest the beast, let him make a triumphant return week 5 with the GOAT.
If he's ready, I want him to play. While not a division game, it is a conference game and a home game. As last year vividly proved, every game is important and home field advantage in January is huge.

We can't let our selfish goals go above the rest of the 31, I say we give the Texans a break.

Good/Great skill positions players can make a average/above average QB look good?? Or is it the other way around?? We shall see later on wont we.

I think the smart thing to do is sit him. Gives him 10 days extra to heal. Game 4 against division rivals with a rookie QB.

FWIW...

Gronk telling teammates that he'll play tonight
