Just curious to see why people think this is; is it just due to going up against AP, or does the rest of the country view Gronk as a turd?

Hell, even Ray Lewis got 33% against Barry Sanders.

Peterson is coming of a comeback/mvp season, Gronk missed the playoffs.

Probably because Gronk didn't do much last year compared to AP, who had a monster year. There could be Patriot-fatigue going on, I wouldn't read a whole lot more into it.

It's as simple as this: he's a Patriot. When you travel outside NE, you quickly learn how universally detested our team is.

I am a complete Pats homer and even I voted for Peterson. No offense to Gronk, but coming back from his ACL surgery and getting that close to the All Time Rushing Record? Yeah, the vote was right.

Adrian Peterson is one of the greatest RBs to ever carry the ball. The guy is a combination of speed, agility, explosion, and power that you just do not see.
