He played DE, didn't really make any standout plays. With Flower playing as well as he did, though, I'm not sure it really matters. He's either fifth or sixth on the DE depth chart right now, depending on whether Zach Moore is listed as DE or DT.

I don't think Grissom was drafted to contribute this year. More of a forward-looking pick to account for the fact that Ninkovich is 31 and Jones is probably gone after 2016.

Moore might be on the outside looking in already.

Grissom was ok. He screwed up on running play but not containing the edge but overall seemed to do ok for his first game.

Other posters have listed Grissom as an OLB, and some as the #4 LB. I didn't think that made any sense.
I agree that we shouldn't need Grissom this year. We have four qualified DE's, including Flowers. We rarely have that many.

I think Flowers will outplay Grissom big time, not sure why BB went with this draft order, Grissom ahead of Flowers who many said is a steal in the 4th round and one of the best rushers in the draft.

At 7:52 remaining in the 2nd qtr, Grissom walked back the Packer's left tackle off the snap forcing the running back inside where he made the TFL.
