Nah man I mean the source for your BB speculation about Caley leaving in 2 years if he was OC

"And now it's the same thing with Bill O'Brien where, because Bill Belichick doesn't know if Caley's going to be here past this year, he doesn't want to have to go through the process of replacing him (in 2023)."

Becuase you don't agree doesn't make you opinion the truth. Opinions
Caley would have been the OC.. was pretty much his job say no To. Wolf likely told him Brissett was going to be the bridge QB.. that probably made his choice to stay with McVay.
Well here’s the thing. It’s kind of a fact that 50% of the time things are better than they look at 50% of the time they are worse than they look (as long as the look is objective) Math.

Once again a young QB in a **** situation in NE, no line no WRs and a coordinator who’s predictable.
I actually give the WRs a break. The QB even when has had time can't hit anyone over 10 yards. Polk, Tyquan pop thier young talents being wasted with Brissett.

And you prove that biased drivel is also remarkably consistent too.
Is Mayo not the least experienced coach in the NFL?
Did the patriots spend all of their cap money?

Those are facts. Truths.
You are drivel.

I can agree with that fair statement. I think we both agree maye should be playing right? For me as fan.. we gain NOTHING by continuing to watch him play.. I get the line it's not secret they suck. However when stranger and Sow come back it should be better. That's when I feel Drake should be give his chance.

You said the Pats refuse to spend to the cap. That is BS. They showed with Aiyuk that they are willing to spend on players they want. They just aren't going to spend just to spend. If there were actually good OT in free agency, they might have signed one or two.

Every down he doesn’t play is a lost opportunity to gain experience.
Every QB faces ****ty blocking whether it’s 5% of the plays or 95%. And the bigger the game, usually the greater the pass rush.
Playing him now, learning to deal with bad blocking, is invaluable experience that will actually be useful in future playoff games.

If Maye is still working on his mechanics and how to read defenses and make decisions, there is plenty of gain from him continuing to watch. If he isn't ready, we need to turn him into the next Bryce Young. If he is still learning the fundamentals that he didn't learn in a crappy system that he was in back in college, putting him out there with a questionable o-line and not a lot of receiving options can ruin him.

Absolutely positively agree. Couldn't have said it better. @ PatsFan2 would be happy to hear this from you!

Sounds like you've be drinking a lot of water.

Actually, I said they refused to commit to spending to the cap. Which is true. The day Mayo said money to burn, Kraft reigned him in
And we left 40 mill unspent. Wanting to trade for a guy who wouldn’t come here was more PR than commitment and still would have left them 30 mill unspent cap.

Here’s a great way to determine who is right. Did they spend to the cap or didn’t they?

From what I've seen on maye.. the team insiders, ect. Since he's been in the organization he's gotten better each day. His footwork, ect has all improved. Hats off to AVP for that. He basically won the starting Job.. but the " plan" was kept.

Once stranger and Sow can comeback that at least sures up some things. There absolutely nothing, nothing we the fans or Drake can gain by watching a lesser talent QB.. as much as hoyer had to watch brady you'd think hoyer would have been a pro bowler at least.

They didn't spend to the cap this year. That isn't refusing to spend to the cap. They had the most money to spend in a shallow free agent market. They would have had to way overpay for average to mediocre talent to get to the cap even if they signed several top free agents even though the top available free agents were at positions they didn't think they needed.

Again, did they spend to the cap? No. Do they refuse to spend to the cap ever? Nothing that happened this year proves that.

Huh?? On how not to play QB that might be good for him but now for us fans.

Maye has been a fast learner. But that doesn't mean he has progressed enough to start without risking him regressing and busting out.

Bottom 32 what's he 29 - 30 - 31ist?? That's being awfully kind.
I mean that's kind of where we knew he was when signed him but he's been worse.

I suppose I hoped maybe a little closer to 25 or even 20 but thats a stretch.

I think maybe I should blame myself a little for not actually making a list.

But it's pretty obvious he's at the bottom of the starters and I would say there are even multiple teams with better backups.
