Greg Bedard goes Medieval on Goodell's Arse

Good read. And I cannot explain why I read comments under articles like these. I'm such a masochist.

I thought a number of them were pretty good, of course theres the usual troll or two.

Peter King, Goodell's puppet actually let him write that piece?

Wow...shocking

I think no matter how this one ends, Goodell is the real loser in this.

Agreed. Goodell at this point is both disliked and disrespected, which is a tough combination if you want to stay in power.

Bedard basically says Pats should be punished if the rumor seems rumory enough in the article.

He's still an idiot. Pot writing an article about kettle.

Unlike other sports I can never remember a football commissioner coming under fire like this. Rozelle had issues with Davis and long before my time the decision to play the Sunday after Kennedy but really I remember him as being a good commissioner. Tagliabue again was generally well liked and respected. Both had strike issues that that's kind of been part of the job. Goodell would have had a major strike on his hands if not for Kraft's guidance and yet he goes out of his way to help Biscotti and the Ravens with their mess and porks Bob again. The player's association hates Goodell. When the players personal conduct issues that aren't part of the CBA come up this off season it will be interesting to see if Bob continues to publicly support Herr Dummkopf.
