Regarding the Seahawks fan post, its interesting but not surprising given the reaction to Deflated footballs that this guy didn't really know the details of Spygate other than it was some form of "signal stealing". So his starting point is "Belichick's history" which is then what he thinks is a possible explanation for Malcolm's play.
It takes a few minutes to google spygate and find out the details but I guess its easier to come up with a conspiracy theory. This is probably more a case of wanting to believe something devious took place because in his mind, admitting failure or honoring your opponent is a sign of weakness when in fact its noble..
