If the rolls were reversed and it was the Pats on the 1 yard line going for the win, I don't think anyone would argue with putting the ball in Tom Brady's hands. We would expect him to make an intelligent decision (or if he got beat by a great individual effort we would tip our cap to the defense). Sure, we'd be mad, but we'd be mad at the outcome (not the call).
