press conference.

Question: Josh, explain that 50 yard touchdown.
Answer before indoctrination: their defense broke in the read and we were able to exploit that.

Question 2: Josh, what was wrong with your fingers?
I dislocated them and popped them back in.

After week 15:
Q1 answer: I caught the ball.

Q2 answer: The injury report will be out Wednesday. Look, the game is over and in the past. Someday , I’m sure there’ll be time to go over all that.

So the head coach is personally investing a lot of time in Josh?

That gave me a big chuckle. It is quite amusing.

But after a bit of reflection, and believing you wrote it as being whimsical, it occurred to me that perhaps BB's overall indoctrination will serve Josh well in so many other areas and help him to realize and reach his potential both on and off the field.

Flash seems to have taken to the Patriot ways quite well. I’d say the indoctrination has been a success already.

Thought it was pretty evident when he made it a point to walk up to Gordon, shake his hand, and pat his helmet after the game-sealing TD catch and run. Same with the team and the way they made it a point to run up and celebrate with him against Indy.

The casual reference to fixing dislocated fingers is a timely reminder about the physical nature of this game. Pray for health for the rest of the season, as it may be the most significant factor that determines how deep the Pats go.

There is something magical about discipline for the addictive type. Most all addicts struggle with discipline. But when it’s forced upon us or we decide to accept discipline, good things happen.

I’ve been clean & sober for almost 29 years and I’m still learning how to apply more discipline in my life.

Josh is now surrounded by disciplined men everywhere he looks. Some may think all football teams are the same. But no team is even close to the Patriots in terms of a culture of discipline.

Lastly, discipline is actually a key to happiness and peace of mind in life. The undisciplined and those that live for the moment will never understand, but it’s true

Agreed. It's the most significant factor every season, in my opinion.

Well one things for certain Flash Gordon has Brady's trust: now if Gronk can just stay healthy this Offense will be impossible to stop!

I was musing about how I see him changing over time. I believe he will buy in

He isn’t going to get a contract near that universe. He is and will always be a major risk. Think half that if not less, or a year to year with club options.

he's just trading one addiction for another, and sure this addiction is winning as a patriot, but still.
Hey if he becomes addicted to a disciplined routine of winning ways that’s a great replacement for his previous addiction.
