Going for it on 4th is good sportsmanship

Could someone explain to these experts that if you kick a FG you get three pts. If you go for it you are giving your opponent the opportunity to stop them with 0 points. To say the Pats were just running it up means your giving the Bills less respect than the Pats, by assuming they don't have the slightest chance to stop them.
 
The analysts will be better off questioning how a coach goes for it inside the 10 yard line on fourth down with the game tied as opposed to going for it when your up by a large margin. I remember coaches kicking the field goal on third down to be safe (not that I ever liked it). Now, we have a coach, who two weeks in a row is going for it on fourth down when the kicker has a chip shot.
