God’s decree. No punishment after death for men.

A good God must be a huge hearted Universalist God. If not then he is a satanic loser. All are equal before God. If not then God would not be righteous. God forbid.

Gnostic Scriptures and Fragments: Epiphanes - On Righteousness

It must then follow that there is no punishment of man after death. Intelligently, God creates all for the best of all possible ends. This is also a natural law.

Only a loser of a God would have a heaven and a hell. Only a poor shepherd would lose a huge part of his flock.

Is your God a Universalist God?

No.

Would a heavenly deity allow murders, rapist and child molesters in with the meek, women and children

Would a earthly father allow the same with his wife, daughters and children

Not all men are equal, because our strength comes in diversity

Its fine to be different, if an heavenly deity wants us all to be equal and the same, then we wouldnt have different heights, races, etc etc

Cain focused on the differences and jealously made him do evil things

Only a evil being would want us to focus on the differences and demand us to be equal

No.

You are mixing above and below and of course that does not work.

We segregate the evil ones here because they can continue to do harm.

No harm can be done to a soul in heaven.

-------

" Cain focused on the differences and jealously made him do evil things"

Perhaps but do you not see that you too are focusing on the differences and think evil thoughts of God creating inferior souls and superior souls?

-------

If we are to emulate God as most religions teach, then what we deserve should always be perfect forgiveness if we are to think as a Universalist God thinks and see us all as equal as that would include equal in the punishment we deserve. If we all deserve the same then all things are equal and that becomes the standard.

No one then deserves punishment if all do.

Imagine a genocidal leader type of evil entity facing God for judgement.

God would rightly send such a soul to hell, in the human prison sense, but in the perfect punishment sense, justice would say that all who conspired to make that monster a monster should also be punished.

Now expand that thinking to all of us, and we all deserve to share the same punishment because we all contribute to what we all are in terms of good or evil.

An evil person, unless insane, is not born evil. We collectively make them evil.

Do you enjoy dwelling in fantasy?

"No.

Would a heavenly deity allow murders, rapist and child molesters in with the meek, women and children"

Tell us, is God not allowing those murders and rapes to go on right now?

Yes he is.

Who cares?

Perhaps the religious want to think the right way.

Do you not love people?

Proverbs 3:12 For whom the Lord loveth he correcteth; even as a father the son in whom he delighteth.

Stay in Canada. Stop bothering us.

If God did exist I would hope he would not create a hell. Perhaps a separate and lesser heaven but the idea of eternal punishment or even particularly bad punishment in the afterlife is unsettling surely.

Indeed.

And quite immoral when punishing for infinite time for an infraction in a finite life.

Odd

Commit a major crime, and your time will be longer than the time it took to commit

Hitler committed one of the most horrific crimes of the century, if not all time

Should a heavenly deity reward such evil?

No but a reasonable punishment is needed and not unreasonable. A big reason we jail and kill people for crimes is to keep us safe not just for punishment.

In the afterlife Hitler can not do anything bad to anyone. So that motive is gone. Now it is about what is suitable punishment and to make him understand what he did was wrong. I don't see the value of tossing him in a fire pit for 10 billionaire years or all eternity. Maybe he should experience some pain and misery but at some reasonable point you need to say enough.

What would i do with Hitler if I was god?

#1 Make him live 1 life of a victim in his concentration camp (now he can understand their suffering)
#2 Explain to him why he was wrong and convince him he was (If i was God I'd know what to say to make him understand and have all the time to do it needed)
#3 Make him listen to every story of pain and death he cased and beg for forgiveness and receive it (I as God could also talk to those he wronged and convince them he was sincere and allow them to be able to forgive him in time). This would take a while...
#4 After this a normal lifetime with me for self reflection

Then when he received forgiveness and heard each story and was truly sorry and felt the pain he caused and understood it completely i would let him into full fledged heaven.

How is that?

Reward in a particular way. No.

Punish. Punish who?

Hitler was not born evil. He was made evil, unless insane, by all who made him that way or facilitated his rein. From a God's POV, who knows all the past, he would see that all who raised of facilitated his genocide should share in his blame.

If you expand that thinking to the whole population, you end with the Christian notion that we are all sinners and all deserve punishment. That being the case, a God would either punish us all or forgive us all. We are all in this together, alone.

See it?
