Agree a deal for Gilmore is in the works or done.
Michael Thomas makes a lot of sense.

Why would the Saints would take Gilmore when they already have Jenkins and Lattimore? I mean their secondary would be amazing, but it's not a position of need right now.

I wonder if NE would make a deal like that, Gilmore for Thomas straight up. The Saints might with their secondary and must win season, but somehow I don't think NE would take on Thomas and his contract.

Complete opposite in my opinion.

NE might take that deal but I doubt Saints would.

Logan Ryan, Duron Harmon, JJW has been a solid chess piece, and I know it’s too early, but Dugger hasn’t looked at all like trash out there. Not counting the Butlers and Jackson’s of the world.

I think the ideal would be for Gilmore to go to a pretender... there are many desperate GMs out there. My hope is that one of them pounces AND that team struggles for the remainder of the season.

Almost more curious to see what type of player NE wants to add to the pick.

strangely im not worried about the defense if Gilmore is traded.

Ever since he traded for Aqib Talib bill has seemed to change his strategy on Cornerbacks and has done pretty well in developing guys at that position. I mean we went from Talib to Revis to Butler to Gilmore. JC jackson looked decent in that position.

now if whatever bill adjusted to start drafting solid Cornerbacks he can do at wide receiver we will be in business

I really, really hope I don't find out that Bill's 1st & a Player asking price - if true at all - was set in stone even in the face of legitimate offers...
