Bengals screwed yet another defensive player. Pratt requested a trade or release before the beginning of the league year but the Bengals sat on his rights until the FA frenzy money largely dried up.

I like that the Pats give players they are cutting ties with the courtesy of an early release so it's easier for them to catch on elsewhere

That is by design on the part of the Pats and in this case it almost seems deliberate on Cincy's part as well. If I were a FA that's the kind of thing I'd take note of. OFC there's a lot of things about the way Mike Brown runs his team that are 'noteworthy'

Reading this validates my opinion that it's best that we sent him packing. I also don't see anything in these comments about winning.

Yep, the easy hanging fruit was Maye didn't want him there so they got rid of him. No, he's kind of a turd so thats why Vrabel wanted him gone.

That and he had a decent game against a Bills team that were playing their 2nd and 3rd stringers
Before that in pre season he looked like he didn’t process quickly, he throws a fastball on touch passes and possibly what we are hearing was not a team player
I lost no sleep when he was traded

SIGN THE BEAST.

Man, signing that guy for some depth would make me feel tons better.
He'd sign on a one year prove it deal, which means we don't get much of a discount. My guess... 1 year 6M, 3M signing bonus and the total could be as much as 8-8.5M with incentives. Feels about right. Not that i am totally against the idea.

SIGN THE BEAST.
Not exactly a scheme fit for us at this point. He's a middle LB whose about 250LBs. Not that i am entirely against it. But he's a guy who has something to prove right now... he hasn't been amazing recently, but on a D that lacking talent it is hard for an LB like him to do much as he seems to lack that one amazing part of his game to lean on and is kind of more of an all rounder than a guy with 1 clear job. If he did have 1 clear job it be run stopping though.

I see nothing wrong with anything he said lol

Meanwhile, the New (same as the Old) boss just ass-umes that Stumpy's not gonna bust as their reason for not signing ANY veterans with LT experience this offseason... Good luck with that...

More words of ignorance from "the Captain".

Wolf isn't "the boss". The Pats already have a LT that was as good as any on the market not named Stanley or Jackson.

Just like when you ran your mouth on Onwenu, you're going to be wrong about Campbell and never admit to it.

I'm not liking that news. It makes me paranoid about Barmore.

Pats rolled the dice in 2001 with Matt Light who many thought he was going to end up at G. They didn't have anyone capable as Grant Williams was quickly yanked and Matt Light never looked back after getting the chance to start.

There's a lot of pressure riding on Campbell.

I remember being really Really bummed that Bruce Armstrong wasn't returning for one more season; but how was he to know what was gonna happen that particular one more season...?
