The gathering I was at went quiet after that drop and they weren't even Pats fans. They knew how bad I wanted that game. Brady had Branch on the hitch route and Hernandez on the drag which I think he outruns Boley. I do think the same scenario would've occurred had the Pats not scored a TD - defense would have to get the last stop.

I had enough of Welker after the Baltimore drop and knew he wasn't going to get re-signed.

It was sickening to watch the Refs hand the Bills the game with their flagrant bias. Worst officiated game since the Steelers/Seahawks SB.

Mr Peabody's Wayback Machine*: Watched that Stealers/Seahawks game at next door neighbor's house - a retired MD who felt he knew everything. He vociferously objected to my reactions to bad call after bad call. It killed me to see Big Ben (QBR 20 something!) win that game & media celebrate the Squealer franchise.
I was never invited back again, ever.

So hard for me to hate on Welker for that. I wish he caught that, but I mean.... Welker made a lot of catches, but rarely do I remember them being like that. I also blanket my analysis with: it never comes down to one thing, making it easier to swallow when someone messes up a catch.

The thing that pisses me off most about him is his time after the Patriots.

I say we fire our Fan Coordinator and hire a new one. We need some new home-schemes. Fans hired out to pull fire alarms at the opposer's hotel. Leaders in each section to drive up crowd noise. Agitators behind the visitor's bench to heighten frustration of opposing team. Fan causing delay of game when the Patriots need to get out of a jam. So many opportunities!

Great stuff, love the guy.

I think he's a player who is going to completely bust his ass in the offseason programs, and when he goes from boy to man he's going to be an exceptional player. Vrabel and Co. prioritized kids who have the character to develop themselves into great players, and I think we are going to see them reap the benefits of that big time in the coming seasons.
