Eh. it always comes back to this for me: if a flag determined the outcome of the game, your team didn't do its job. I don't care how bad a flag is. The Jones one hurt, but tbh we shouldn't have been in that situation in the first place.

It wasn't just "A FLAG". If it was "A FLAG", I wouldn't have made the comment to begin with. FFS. It was NUMEROUS BOGUS flags and the NON-CALLS. The Call on Onwenu was complete garbage. As was the one on Woodson. The Refs refused to call DPI on the Interception by the Bills, but call it on Jones when HE came down with control of the ball despite the Offensive player causing the contact. There was the illegal hands to the face by a Bills CB that prevented a reception. I counted 3 different times that the Bills RG got set, then started gesticulating like crazy, then the Bills snapped the ball while he was still moving. That's a False Start by the rule book. Even VRABEL called out the Refs.

So please spare me the BS of "They shouldn't have been in the situation in the first place". They were in the position because of the Refs. putting their finger on the scales in favor of Buffalo.

Yep. Mahomes's deal can be restructured as he has a bunch of non guaranteed $ in 2026 and 2027 but they already have $60m of his current deal allocated to a voided year. Hes still fairly young and he should come back just fine from the ACL but with all players the can should be kicked only so far. It'll be interesting to see what they do.
