Gary Tanguay has a hissy fit over Belichick

"The medium has become the message"... wonder if he got more Twitter Followers or Facebook likes because if his idiotic banter???

"A guy has committed murder under his watch", WTF does that mean????

That is Tanguay's goal... maybe he had lunch with Borges???

Despite the best efforts, probably will not eat at Uno's...

wow, the boston media just continues to embarrass themselves.

I don't understand why they think BB needs to say anything at all other than it is a terrible tragedy. Other than pot The guy did not even get a speeding ticket since 2007, he was on the team trouble free for two years prior to his extension.

What do they think? That he had a bunch of gang related paraphernalia and guns and such in the locker room and he had to tell him to keep his Glock in his car multiple times. And the other time during practice after being tackled hard that he was going to cap the LB.

The guy was a loner on the team that did not hang with the other players,In the last 25 years I probably went out with co workers 1/2 dozen time even when traveling.

I have always thought Tanguay was a moron, but this clip might have confirmed it. He has a major hissy fit about how Belichick needs to say something tomorrow in his press conference. Unfortunately, he goes off like a petulant child so I am not clear what Tanguay thinks Belichick should say or exactly what his point is other than he thinks Kirk Minihane is a moron.

Tanguay to Minihane: 'It's idiotic. You're a moron!' | Comcast SportsNet - CSNNE.com

Might? :confused4:

The sound in that video that is drowned out by two babies screaming over each other is the sound of everybody changing the channel. Pathetic.

Stern defends his own ugliness by saying Calahan looks like Skeletor. ehh haa haa. And for the people saying Stern sure went off for a long time about them, that's what Stern does. He doesn't jump from topic to topic. He wrings every last drop out of the material before he moves onto the next subject. Topic duration us usually around 10 minutes for each.
Not that I wanna defend Howard Stern or anything, but the males who're on air on Boston Sportsradio are, for the most part, such everyday bores with a jock wannabe aspect added to their bland personalities.

Stern really went off on those two guys. I really dislike D&C, so it was fun to listen to.

Anyhow, the media is pushing the "Belichick MUST say something about Hernandez" T&R were going off this AM about how he must address the questions.....and to think otherwise is stupid...whatever.

Hopefully the next month will go by quickly without any drama, so they can actually start talking about the team on the field and meaningful games.

Meladrama:a dramatic work that exaggerates plot and characters in order to appeal to the emotions.

I stopped watching ESPN because of the meladramas they create and then carpet bomb their viewers with. Favre, Kobe, Lebron etc etc etc. I'll reluctantly watch a sporting event on their network but no more.

As far as BB delving into his id.......what could he possibly say about the AHern situation that would affect my life/your life in any way. This is all about the media getting one free swat at BB. Personally I hope BB holds form and gives them nothing. Let the psycho-babbler mediots heads explode.

For just one presser, I'd really like BB to stick it to these guys.

I know that he's in a no win situation with whatever he says, so he might as well stick to his usual routine and say nothing (using lots of words).

What would be more fun is him putting the ridiculous questions back on these guys or just simple things like knowing what went on in the building and that he's 100% confident that Hernandez never shot at anyone while in the building. Or, even asking why their investigative reporting never had any of these details prior to the actual events (oh yeah, they don't investigate, they sit by being idle and try to whip topics up to a frenzy...at least prostitutes are more honest about their profession than the boston news media).

Very nice.
BB should say..."We didn't know. And since reporters only rely on their twitter feeds for their leads, I doubt you knew either."
Then BB should scan the room and call out Borges. "Ron Borges....did you manage to slink in the room. There's my buddy Ron. Ron....do me a favor....when you skewer me in your next column, how about you admit your imperfections as well. Like the time you punched out the old crippled boxing reporter. I seem to have missed that column. "

Belichick doesnt owe us ****. WE are the Patriot fans they are arguing about in that video. Aaron Hernandez committed a terrible act DURING THE OFF-SEASON. Is Belichick supposed to check in with his players every night. Im sick of hearing how somehow Bill and Co were supposed to know this was going to happen.

I'm perplexed at why people even have any reaction to Reporters who don't report the news.. It's almost comical..

There's no benefit for BB to open up. We all know it's a sad situation and is being dealt with by the courts.. And I'm sure BB feels the same . But his job is to get the team focused for the future.. Kraft already talked about the situation and it should end there..

Still chuckling thinking why this even matters.. Unless BB comes out and says " Hernandez should have called me b4 the murder, because I would have told him to dump the body a little further away and not get video taped.." Then I'm not expecting much and either should the Tangay's of the world

It's hilarious and sad that Bill has gotten more flack from the media over this than the guy who actually did the murdering. Although not surprising because any chance the media gets to go after him they'll take it and they'll keep going after him.

BINGO!... I have a sneaking suspicion that there are going to be a lot of disappointed "reporters" today. Just the way BB likes it. They are bugs under his shoe.

What I don't understand is why the media thinks the fans want Belichick to talk about it. We've talked about it to death now for over a month. With football just two days away I don't want the situation starting up again. I don't follow football to hear about arrests and court room drama. I want to hear about football.

Some in the media may counter that it is important to understand the machinations behind the scenes so that this doesn't happen again. Well you know what? That's not my problem. I have enough problems that I don't have to add the NFL's problems with player arrests to my laundry list. He's off the team. They have said and done what they have needed to, to put this behind them. Its now time for football. In the words of Tom Brady...I've moved on.

Well, if Gary Tanguay says he has to talk about it then I guess Belichick really has no choice but to talk about it.............

Mediot 1: Will the Hernandez situation cause you to change your draft board going forward?

BB: As Robert said in his statement we've been instructed by the lawyers to not comment on an ongoing investigation. I'm here to talk about his year's team and our players.

Mediot 2: Did you have any idea when you extended Hernandez that he had this dark side.

BB: I think I've covered my position on question not related to the 2013 New England Patriots.

Mediot 3: So you're not going to cover this at all.

BB: I think that's pretty clear at this point.

Mediot 4: How will not having Hernandez effect the TE and receiving for this year.

BB: We have a good group coming into camp and it should generate a lot of competition.

Mediot 4: But specifically no Hernandez.

BB: Anything else? No? Great.

I have no idea why the media has talked themselves into the fact that a leopard is going to change his spots but they're going to get the giant FU they always have.

After the Tanguay meltdown yesterday, all I can do is laugh.....

As for Howie / D & C - both of them are yesterdays' news.

With that said - I am going to be interested to see if BB adds anything other than the standard moniker lines that he normally provides to the press and I stand by my question that I would ask in the previous Aaron Hernandez thread (wherever that question and thread is).

I could see him going this way too:

BB: We change our draft board strategy every year. There's always tweaks to be made, ways we feel we can get better. I'm sure next year will be no different.
