I always feel some movement whenever we wear the white and blue. Even more so when we wore them in the last two Super BowlsNot sure, white on white for one game would be cool though hope we get it. Our white on blue is best road uniform in the league but why not do all white for a game?
Be Ok if they could go with the white helmet. Which I thought they voted on that too.Not sure, white on white for one game would be cool though hope we get it. Our white on blue is best road uniform in the league but why not do all white for a game?
Pats @ Saints is a 1:00 pm game ?
That got me me wondering if the Pats might be better off staying out in Denver for the week following the game. It would be a shorter trip to Mexico City and they'd be able to practice for a full week at altitude and actually have a slight advantage on the Raiders.
Clippers concern me, we have nobody to cover Blake. Bill blew it.Some good and bad in this schedule.
1. The bye week is the first thing I look at every year when the schedule comes out. Having it in week 9 is a good thing about this schedule.
2. I don't EVER remember have to play 5 of 6 games on the road before including 2 in a row in altitude.

4. LAC got me too. My first thought "the Clippers????"
5. 7 games against playoff teams from last season plus 2 more against 2015 Superbowl teams. I'm not sure how that got to be on someone's "easiest schedule" list
Helmet thing is definitely out unfortunately.Be Ok if they could go with the white helmet. Which I thought they voted on that too.
Pats have some big OL men who should be more than capableClippers concern me, we have nobody to cover Blake. Bill blew it.
I thought the TB game was a Thursday nightWhile I'm pissed at some of the logistics the league as forced on the Pats this season (what a shock), the bye week is a good one and there doesn't seem to be a Thursday night game (which I thought every team got).
Question: Does anyone else have to play 5 games in six weeks on the road?
Week 5 at Tampa (plus the home opener). They want every team to have to play on Thursday once. Since there are seventeen weeks that makes 34 teams, so I'm guessing the two teams that play on Thursday in week one have to play another Thursday night game later. While I'm pissed at some of the logistics the league as forced on the Pats this season (what a shock), the bye week is a good one and there doesn't seem to be a Thursday night game (which I thought every team got).
It is rare, but does happen. Teams typically don't fare too well.Question: Does anyone else have to play 5 games in six weeks on the road?
Uggh.
Based on a recent thread there were a lot of Pats fans planning to come to this game. If it is on a Thursday night that becomes a lot more difficult for those not living within the immediate vicinity, and makes pregame meet-ups and tailgating more difficult to plan and pull off.
Think the Raiders have to go early to Mexico the same way that the home team needs to be early in London. So not sure if that really would be a huge advantage.
Also -- and I wrote it before -- I honestly wonder if one week really is enough to acclimate yourself to high elevation and not something that would affect practice before the Raiders game a bit too much. Maybe someone who knows about training in altitude can chime in here.
This will have a negative impact on your endurance running performance until your body adjusts to the elevation. It takes your body about three to six weeks to fully acclimate to high altitude. However, your endurance race times at high altitude will never be as fast as they would be at sea-level.
