Re: From JetsInsider.com: Ya Know Something? After All Their Talk, I Have NO Sympat

Ive read threads over there where they've convinced each other that Brady is an average QB and never comes through in the clutch, no fooling, Id like to get some of what they smoke over there.

they ALWAYS bring up last season's plaoyff game as to why Brady sucks. Idiots.

I fear every team we play. In fact the only team I ever thought "Oh there's no way we can lose this game" was the Giants in the game that shall not be mentioned, and we all know how that worked out.

I took that loss hard but it was much easier on me than most Pats fans because I saw the vaunted Pats margin of winning deteriorate thru December as teams figured out the offense and tempered my expectations. We were fortunate in the playoffs to get the early matchups we got. Once the Jints were the opponent I was VERY uneasy. That said I really thought the Pats would win the SB, up until the 2nd quarter when I realized that from the HC on down everyone was contributing to a L. I was confident during Brady's late 4th Qtr drive that ended in the leading TD, but all along I was watching the too long clock with dread.

/reference to that which cannot be mentioned

Same here. To me, the Giants were the ones that matched up the best with us. A team that can get extreme amounts of pressure on the quarterback from their front four, drop the rest back into coverage, and still stuff the run. This way, they were able to effectively end our screen game, and take the running game out of the equation. I was extremely nervous during the build up to the Super Bowl.
