Why did we get Patricia? It should've been Flores as offensive coordinator. Hell we could've gotten wes welker
Flores is also a defensive coach without significant offensive experience, as far as I’m aware. So that doesn’t make much sense.

In regard to Patricia it’s nepotism rearing it’s ugly head, or at least partially so.

This is one of those things where Mac has to step in and let Matt know who he wants in the game.
Knowing Matt's ego he would bench Mac the rest of the season for such insubordination.

I'll never forgive Patricia for costing us a Superbowl. Benching Butler is the worst coaching decision in the history of the Patriots

Flores is a significantly better coach than Patricia.

I'm convinced now that Patricia has naked photos of Belicheck and it was Patricia who kept Jake Bequette on the roster all those years

Times sure have changed....

BB.....Mr Positive
Pats WR coach......Announcing personnel deployment adjustments 5 days before Pitt

A lot of secrets given away here by the Pats WR coach. A real theep droat:

“I feel like Kendrick did a great job of staying ready, didn’t have any reps throughout the course of the game, and was able to come in and make a huge play for us down the stretch,” said Brown. “That was a true sign of being a professional by Kendrick. Just being ready at all times. He did it for us last year, and he’s continued to do it for us this year.”

“There’s no named person that’s going to be out there playing more than another person,” Brown said. “It’s just going to be whoever earns the right to go out there and play. They’re going to be the guys who play for us on Sundays.”

This freaking drama makes me sick.
My advice: give that sports media thing a rest, they're making a mountain out of a molehill.
BB, MP and KB are adult men, not ass clowns like Curran, Felger and Mazz.
They'll figure it out, then the ass clowns will move on to the next thing they can whine about.

Congrats to Boston Sports Talk whining mediots, you've found your talking point of the week!

Callers filling the lines to say how much more their butt hurts than the last caller.

Curran even got to take a shot at Matty P, his favorite whipping boy these days.

Phatt Matt sucks.

I already said this postgame, but Parker is not as explosive as Bourne - not by a mile. Parker got a perfect opportunity to do what he was brought here for - and he blew it, and the game spiraled down from there. Parker was not quick or fast. Bourne is both. Agholor looked spry and very fast. It should be the 3 who were here all last year in the training year to lead the charge - Meyers, Bourne, Agholor.
I'm glad we have Parker as the 4th. But come on, BB's General Eisenhower thing only blows games and ruins talent.

Yeah Zuma, from what I'm hearing, we'll be seeing more of Bourne going forward. Should be interesting to see who see's less time but I'm thinking after that Agholar's fumble, it might be him.

In Agholor's defense, and I didn't get a real good look at a slo-mo replay from my seat at the bar, but it sure looked like there was contact with his helmet, if not helmet-to-helmet itself... Heck I don't even know if that was even a fumble in the first place or just an incomplete pass...

General Eisenhower thing?

So, Ian linked to a story that was on the front page, with the basic take in it that Bourne did not like the install... and for some of you guys, this is a "can't have everything, where would you put it?" moment... Ah say, the basic take is that Bourne did not like the install, because it had two tight end sets that diminished his role.

So I don't know how sourced the causality is in that statement, or in the statement that he remains in the doghouse for being late to a meeting. That's just tonight's "Aha!!!" take.

Think about it though. If you were whining about how we wasted money picking up Jonnu Smith AND Hunter Henry, well there ya go chief, stop *****ing and moaning that there are only so many total WR snaps, and don't ***** and moan that the WRs who get those snaps are the ones on board with the install.

That said, we just need to get him 10 snaps and that should be enough for Kendrick Bourne to get at least a dozen catches and 11 TD. FFS. I like him, but you guys are building him into something he's not. Sure, if you've got a weapon use him, but unless you've preemptively decided that the "real" Agholor is 2021 Agholor, and that we wasted our money on Parker, he is one of four guys tried and tested and found able to succeed as NFL wide receivers. NONE of them is this crazy threat that you MUST triple team or whatever. It's 4 competent guys, a potential embarassment of riches, or (edit) an embarassment of steady paychecks more like, and that is before thinking about Thornton, which of course makes sense for a few more weeks.
No a message must be sent that if you’re late in the preseason you must be punished 5 weeks later even if it contributes to you losing the game and losing your QB’s respect.
Again, where is the confirmation that he's benched because he was late? I am not hanging on these details but is there 100% confirmation from the coaching staff? What I just read was of the "reason finally revealed" variety, and it was about not being on board about the install.
Not only is Kendrick Bourne the best offensive player on the Patriots....but he can also perform brain surgery and walk on water.
Chuck Norris checks under the bed at night for Kendrick Bourne.
He was the team's best WR last year (or, in order to avoid sidetracking the argument, the team's second best WR behind Meyers). The only WR addition currently worth discussing is Parker. Is it your position that Parker>Bourne? If not, why should Bourne not be getting at least WR2 snap numbers?
Thanks for the "or" there. I really wouldn't quibble too hard about it, I think they're basically of similar value. I think Parker is in that batch too as is Agholor, but Parker and Agholor have a little speed bump that both Meyers and Bourne lack. It's not everything, it's just a thing.

I think of Parker at his best as probably better than Bourne at his best. 2019 Parker is definitely better than any year's Kendrick Bourne, but is also in the past. Only question is whether he's also in the future.

But I think the main thing is, these are two guys who each ended up with 1 reception Sunday. Obviously, Bourne's ended up being way more productive. Parker was targeted twice, Bourne once. You might remember the outcome of that other target, the interception when he doesn't think he was interfered with. Jonnu Smith, 4 targets, 33 yards. Want those back to give to Kendrick Bourne? Reportedly, Kendrick Bourne does, and already proactively did before the game. 3 targets to Ty Montgomery. I personally think whoop de do, he's mediocre at two things, but we loves us some swiss army knives. So one of those went for a TD, that's a bonus. And on and on.

Thing is, yeah Bourne ended up with 2 snaps, but nobody just feasted out there Sunday. You can only slice up 21 completions so many ways, and evidently, we were trying to figure out how many ways that is.

9 pass catchers, 21 actual completions and evidently everybody had to eat. Sure Bourne got a rock, but Meyers, the most targeted guy, got 6 targets, Agholor 5.
I vote: Ray Lewis killed a guy.
I vote Aaron Hernandez killed a guy, then a guy killed him. Maybe it was him. Wait that's not funny? Crap. Sorry.

You guys think the injuries have finally just destroyed Parker? Age?

Just saw Monty is out, LilJordan Humphrey is in.

It was helmet to ball, I think.

I don't really see where you're trying to go with this comparison.

Bourne had 1 catch in 2 snaps.
Parker had 1 catch in 57 snaps.

Here's some exclusive video clips of what happened between Patricia and Bourne, as witnessed by Gene.

I acknowledge Parker was on the field. I pointed out he got 2 targets. Now you can say he didn't get open. I know, I know. Is your position -- which we'll go back and figure out at the end of the season -- that nothing good can come of Davante Parker being on the field? It seems more to me like we have one game where that happened.

I'm just pointing out Bourne got his 1 catch and it went for a big gain, that doesn't mean you put him on the field for 57 snaps and he gets 28.5 receptions each of them for 41 yards.

Everybody's just coocoo for cocoa puffs about what a brilliant WR Bourne must be. I mean he's good, but what do you want, the old Minnesota "Randy Ratio" .... for Kendrick Bourne?
