Free Agent DT Kevin Williams??

It wouldn't surprise to learn that Seattle actually pitched Less playing time to Williams. While the Pats' offer may have exceeded when adding incentives, I have to ass-ume that those incentives were based
at least partly on playing time. World champs, less wear & tear, similar money = no-brainer.

In all my experience with professional athletes, I've never met one who wanted less game time, especially when the season comes around. That said, I do acknowledge that you may be right.

The reason I speculated such is that I read recently (Reiss?) that none of Seattle's DLmen played
more than 60% of available snaps last year. I have to ass-ume then that a similar promise was made
to Williams as well, and when you're his age, no more than 60% playing time on the SB champs might
not sound so bad.
