Four Tackles: Moses and ???

What's so special about Wallace besides his draft status that he's considered a lock?
I think you said it in your post…draft status. He’s a 3rd rd draft pick from year ago who was injured for a good chunk of last season. He’s like a rookie + this year.

He has talent; he just needs to stay at RT and learn/develop. It’ll be a good thing for him to sit behind a solid vet like Moses for a year or two. Not every rookie; especially a 3rd rounder, becomes an instant starter. He’s in a good position to grow into the starter’s role. Nothing wrong with that.

On the other hand, if it doesn’t work out for Wallace, other young tackles should be developed and ready to step in.

Don't forget Caleb Jones

But seriously, I believe it will be LT: Rookie / Lowe backup
RT: Moses / Wallace backup

Past performance is the best predictor of future success. That does not guarantee anything, it is only a predictor.

I did not state my belief because it does not matter. I have no experience on a NFL drafting team. I post on PatsFans.
Robinson did the drafting in Tenn. while Vrabel was there, until Robinson was fired. Vrabel wanted Crowden to take over after Robison but was rebuffed by ownership. The GM who was hired squabbled with Vrabel. So I'm not sure we can say exactly what Vrabel's past practice on drafts is.

fair enough

To me, that means that Lowe starts and we HOPE that one of the rookies can be the backup.
A tackle at 38 would start over Verdarian Lowe.

I suspect that would be the case whether he should be starting or not. How many LT's drafted at 38 or later last year should have been starting? How many from 25 onward?

We need a starter.

In the last 3 years, all LTs drafted from 25 to the end of the 2nd round started all, if not almost all, their games for the team that drafted them.

I like it. You had to, I agree. People get cranky about it. If you don’t like it, then learn the difference between you’re and your ; there and their…. and burn in Hell, could OF
lose and loose!

I have a hard time believing that.
