Former Colts free agent DE Dwight Freeney visiting the Pats today

I remember hearing the same things about Harrison.

I think he will play SS in base and then play the hybrid LB/S in sub packages. Guy is a freak at 230lbs with amazing athletic ability absolutely my favorite pick up in years even though his age is getting up there.

I agree I just feel that NASCAR front was fad that worked for the Giants in 2011 but not sustainable in the NFL. Rather see them add 1 DE and then add a proven DT that can play inside.

So why are you complaining about Ninkovich sitting down for a true pass rusher?

We are fine at DT in the base. We stink at DT in sub. We stunk at every part of passrushing that wasn't Jones or at times Cunninghmam from the DT spot all year.
Improving run defense should be just about the last worry on the list.

Armstead would appear to be the DT.

Adding both Abraham and Freeney would fix the need at pass rush. I don't like the Wilson signing at all but he would help on first down. Add Sanders Talib and Winfield ( getting greedy now) and the re-sign Vollmer, that should pretty much do it for free agency, then go WR and DB in the draft.

That is quite a bit in free agency but they are bright people, they can do it.

Tell him that to your face...

He might be stronger than some of the linebackers...for real.

Yeah bicep size directly correlates to field production.

Being a four-time All-Pro pick, and one of just six players in NFL history to record at least 25 sacks and 25 interceptions in his career does, though.
